This. We let every other quarian have a job. That slave quarian can be both freed and be given a job at that company.
Kenn already have a job. You just prevented the elcor from shutting him down/ripping him off.
But Lia gets nothing. Not even a dime.

Well...she wasn't exactly in a bind that prevented her from completing her pilgrimage. Kenn needed the money for getting on with his, and Slave Quarian has a way out with SI.
You can't just hold their hands during pilgrimage. They have to work for it.

I think being taken into custody for vagrancy is more than just a bump in the road.

Pilgrimage has a few different interpretations, one being that you don't know what you have till you're separated from it, another is straight-up finding a gift for the fleet that affects the whole system, like Geth data.

This is always how I looked at the whole Lia situation. You help her out of her problem keeping her from completing her pilgrimage, and then let her continue on her way.

I think LIa was a big girl and didn't need much more than the immediate help. I mean, she came to the Citadel to work EVA salvage. That's rough stuff. She'll be fine.

since we don't know most of them it would be a wise choice.mrsph wrote...

I would only keep Gartner Ken and Gabby.
EDIT: since the quarians are great with ships.

All I want to do is to point Lia in the right direction. It's like you said, no one wants to hire her. In that case, I think it's acceptable to get help from people.

C'mon guys. In ME 3 we will take rannock from the geths, either by diplomacy or by force, and this whole pilgreamage thing won't be necessary any more. Isn't that an consoling thought?
Hold on Lia!
