Wait a minute. Veetor technically failed his pilgrimage, so that means he will never become a man :(

But why have other races no equivalent to pilgrimage then? I thought its only that important for the quarians because to strenghten the migrant fleed.

If I have to give every damn quarian a job I'd have to fire everyone on the Normandy.

I think the only way you can fail it is if you die.

Besides, the kid lost his marbles. They shouldn't judge him because of that.

When or If they resettle Rannoch, they are going to need resources to build and expand. This keeps pilgrimage in important role. (Just a theory)

Like its been said...If I gave every Quarian I met a job on the Normandy, I'd have to become part of the Migrant Fleet. It's be both awesome and kinda crappy. I'd have to answer to the Admiralty board instead of the council.

Well, it's smaller of two evils. And Shala is nice.

He got information on the collecters, who are allies to Reapers and Heretic geth. That's something. Besides, he's already suffering the social stigma of being mentally unbalanced, what more could a ship's crew do?:?

Data is an acceptable gift.  Heck, Lemm in Ascension did nothing but arrange a meeting with Kahlee Sanders as his gift.

It's all about what captain will accept the gift, really.

Well provided you didn't give him to Cerberus. Then his gift is just a bunch of crazy.

I kinda wonder if Shepard and the Normandy somehow aren't already technically part of the Flotilla. I mean, he was qualified to represent a quarian in a trial for treason, and now he's got a member of the Flotilla serving on his ship.

Edit:  Should he be able to vote in the Conclave?

It's also meant to prevent the chance of inbreeding within the Fleet (when Quarians join a new ship)

Lets see...A ship is nice. Resources are cool. Data on the geth/collectors is invaluable, and a meeting with Kahlee is...awesome? She didn't even bring any real data on the Reapers. Although it did spawn a quest for a new world...

It's all subjective.

The asari have their "maiden years" where they wander around and get into trouble.

Whatever the captain of the ship a Quarian wants to join respects. Captain of the Neema may respect a gift that Captain of the Qwib-Qwib won't respect.

I've read that most quarian captains accepts most gifts simply because they want the pilgrim to serve on their ship.

Is that so? I mean in the end you're the captain and youre NOT a Quarian so i don't think you'll have to become a part of the migrant fleed. Anyway i have the only Quarian that i need already on board so i don't need any Quarian else.
