Or a upgrade tree for her shogun, instead of the all around beneficial upgrades in ME2.

What I'm hoping for:
You, yourself get to customise your own armour and weapons using mods and add-ons. (But more elaborate and visually apparant than the system in ME1, more like Modern Warfare or Crysis)
Meanwhile, your squadmates will ask for specific resources and mods for their own weapons and armour, you won't customise them yourself.

So Tali would go something like: "You know Shepard, there's been something I've been meaning to ask you. Could you get me some palladium so I can upgrade my shotgun? (note: bought from a market/found during a mission, no more planet scanning, plz) I mean, if it's not too much of a problem, I- I could work with my current set-up too, it doesn't really matter. Keelah, I'm being selfish, just forget I asked."

Oh, no need for her to do it. I'll go to the Citadel and buy the latest prototype mods there are with the help of my Spectre status. Let's take it easy on the planets.

I'd send a probe set for palladium so hard, it'd crack the planet.

I don't mind the planet scanning the way it is now, but a better way to gather material for upgrades and such would be most appreciated.

I was lurking, never bothered to make an account for the old boards. (While I liked (heck, loved Tali, I was damned disappointed when I finally looked it up on the internet after my second playthrough and found out Tali wasn't an LI) back then, the threads were mainly a supply of funny minifics and fanart back then. Not to mention, eventually I took a "hands-off" approach with ME2 coming so close in order not to spoil anything)
