Can't say I think she's that impressionable. We don't really have any indication she's like that.

We don't really have any indication she doesn't either. It's all in her head ^_^

There is the "What Would Shepard Do" quandry she has on Haestrom that you hear in one of her audio logs.

That's different. That's not a moral decision, it's a tactical decision.

Shep still influenced the way she thinks.

An old disscussion but would you choos between Tali or a few heavily populated planets?

I say Tali first.

Can you not post things like that please...thats what get's us locked and we have had way to many close shaves recently..if you wanna post it put it in a link...sorry for badgering...back to Tali[/quote]

I'm sorry, I try to make things a bit more interesting by not restricting the topic of Tali purely to the Mass Effect universe, I thought that discussion of a topic could include comparisons to other things besides what the topic originally came from (in this case Tali and Mass Effect). Again I thought that comparisons were ok to a topic thread, I always made sure that I never talked about something completely different and off subject, so I'm sorry.

LOTS of spam, image spam, and chatter removed, lots of temp bans handed out. This is my second appearance and culling of this thread today. I don't want to have to come here a third time today to get rid of spam, chatter, and meme images.

And SenHai, i agree that unjust bans or unjust, but all of the bans I've handed out today have been for violations of Rule #1 of our site Rules, which is "no spam." We alos have a "this is not a telephone" rule, which means no chatter like you normally see in chatrooms, 4chan, or /b/. Saying "hi thread" or "what's our topic?" or "See you later, guys" is chatter and not permitted here.

remember, these are all rules that everyone here agreed to follow and be governed by when they signed up to participate in our community. as usual, if anyone has any questions or concerns regarding our community or this message, please let me know. Thank you.

Maybe this is instantly obvious to everyone and I'm just a moron for not figuring this out until a few days ago, but anway, I just realized that Shala doesn't return Tali's warm embrace here because she feels guilty about not informing Tali that Rael is trapped on the Alarei. Am I right? Wrong? Or is this just common knowledge that I failed to notice?

Not my point. My point is that she has her own morals.

I´m going to go an play some ME.

Keep it clean. Keep it Tali.

EDIT:

On the Tali vs Planets thing.

I would save those planets, and then use the Lazarus Project to bring back Tali.

I won't choose until I see a plausible scenario where such choice has to be made.

It is fairly common knowledge she never returned Tali's hug.

I agree with you, actually. Shala probably does feel guilty about the whole mess.

I think that posr was more in relation to my picture of a velciraptor holding a pipe, acting philosophical. See here

Guys, if you don't have a new topic or reply for a topic here, just let the thread lay fallow. It'll still be here... Unless you don't heed this advice.

I think you're right.

She's an admiral after all. Wouldn't look good if she let personal feelings get in the way of her judgement.

I don't see it as plausible either. If ME3 did have something like it, it seems it would be in bad taste. Anyway, I would save the population center.

No, we never really discussed it.

Not common, no. But it has been brought up by Riptide and a few others deep in the nightshift.

I don't think Cerberus would let you do such a thing, or give you the technical details, reports and logs to make someone else do it.

But deus ex machina is almost always a good thing...

No it isn't. Vigil in ME1 was terrible.

I think it was similar, she felt guilt about hiding information from Tali. In the end we'll never know.

Read almost.

Man, I really wonder how they're going to make it so the player can create their own Shepard in ME3.

Killing off the Commander again would just be lame.

Whatever the reason, I do appreciate little things like that in a game which you don't notice on your first playthrough. I always love attention to detail.
