Man, I really wonder how they're going to make it so the player can create their own Shepard in ME3.
Killing off the Commander again would just be lame.

You can still romance her if she is exiled (and you will still get her loyalty). However, if you reveal the evidence, you cannot romance her and you will not get her loyalty.freddyfurious wrote...

Ah, crap...
I've used my custom Shep in about 97% of all my playthroughs, and there's just one thing about his face that annoys the [heck] out of me. His villain looking eyebrows.
And every time I use the code, ShepGandhi shows up...sucks...

I don't know if there are a lot of Talimancers / Tali Fans in general here that are also James Bond fans, but you know what I just realized?
In Goldeneye, one of the Bond movies that holds some of my fondest memories (Hello? The N64 game made of it?), Bond hooks up with a girl named Natalya Simonova, a computer hacker that shares a lot of traits with out dear girl Tali; slavic accent, highly intelligent, kinda awkward at times when it came to the love scenes but she knew how to get it on when she needed to :3, she's a techie, and above all she is a victim of what I like to call "H.N.G.S." (pronounced: "hnnngggg...sss." and stands for "Hot Nerd Girl Syndrome"
anyone else see the parallel?
Golden eye was a good better then the last two bond film we had to deal with in recent years Casino royale and quantum solace those bond movies sucked.
WHAT?!
Oh thats right its internet everyone hates EVERYTHING.

Perhaps Bioware will take the sort of "tough luck" approach to character builds like they did with characters who died not being importable/continue to be party members in the next mass effect. If you didn't take the time to properly take advantage of changing your character to something different, then "tough luck"
Besides, even with the whole lazerus project method of changing your character, it didn't make much sense to recreate your own appearance, your class yes, but appearance no, since everyone from the first game would still instantly recognize you even if you looked completely different, that just kills immersion for me.
So one could just be locked with their ported character's appearance but still be able to switch classes I suppose, there is always time to "train" yourself to aquire the skills of a biotic, engineer, or soldier.

Yes she does, so make two saves where you romance her one where you clear her name and one where you Exile her. I actually interested to see how the exile storyline plays out.

And I have yet to find a really good reason to get her exiled but loyal. Will probably just have negative effects when imported to ME3.

Then don't get her exiled. With the current story, there is no reason to do so other than Liz's voice acting.freddyfurious wrote...

The only 'story' you get from it is betraying your friend and shattering the fleet, essentially dooming the quarian people as a whole.justgimmedudedammit wrote...

Actually, I'm going to do that in one of my playthroughs. I agree that the story is worth it. I really love that unlike other squad mates, she won't compromise her morals for Shepard. She will call him out and denounce him if he acts in a way deserving.

One possibility of her being exiled could be that once Rannoch was returned to the quarians she would not be allowed on the planet. Not something I care to risk.
nah i dont think so. IF they get Rannock then its because of kickass sheppard and his asskicking girlfriend Tali. They wouldnt dare to forbid her to turn back to her homeplanet. They shouldnt dare.... *reloads his assult-rifle*

I look at Exile along these lines.. "**** you Admiralty board, I'm taking her with me, she has more of family with us than she'll ever have with you." Garrus and Kasumi give the Co-sign nodded behind my Shephard. My Normandy is loving, dysfunctional band of the mercs that went from comrades, to friends , to family
