Let's recap a second...if you turn over the evidence, as I mentioned, she doesn't get exiled. It simply opens up new avenues of dialog.

I get the whole Tali-fan thing, really I do. She's one of my favorite characters overall and as such she needs to be fleshed out in all directions. So as a fan I owe it myself to not be greedy and only go for the shiny aspects of the story line and not consider everything else. This means pissing her off at times to see what I think will be the best outcome.

But what's really odd is the most valuable thing on the entire ship is a geth shield upgrade. That's a pretty big leap for a bunch of scientist who can't even control the geth to begin with.

Rael: I'm not going to lie people, some, nah, all of us will die. However, if we succeed and pull off a heart wrenching enough experience we ensure that Shepard rides my daughter like the last pilgramage transport back to the Flotilla. If we do that then it will all be totally worth it.
