I really need to write down the Tapetum Lucidium theory next time it gets posted, because it really is pretty rock solid, but I can't recall it off the top of my head, and don't have the scientific knowledge to defend it really.  Though I do know that with reflective eyes, the whole thing wouldn't necessarily glow, it could be just like what we see with Tali, with only the irises (or whatever part it is,) glowing.

the color of the sun doesnt affect the color of the sky (more or less) it is affected by the atmosphere. although the sun itself would still be orangish

So atmospheric composition is the main determinant, not the solar spectrum.

Isn't "more orange than Sol" right up there with "more arid than Earth" as fake facts that sound good, but don't actually mean anything since they use indefinite measurements?  Or do they actually go into more detail with that one?

as far as i know, that is the case with our planet so it would be logical to assume it is the same case with others

Given the fact that they were working on 3 before 2 was out, and that they aren't completely reworking the game engine like they did from 1 to 2, I can't see how it would possibly take that long, unless they're just completely putting it on the back burner to work on other games, which seems unlikely.
