There's something romantic in that... two people... at home... no one around for MILES... just the two of you... living together, even if just on leave or on vacation... spending time modding your weapons together... watching music.... listening to music and dancing...

And... other stuff... <3

By other stuff your, of course, referring to the ability to order high end weapons from the passing convoy? =]

Some wine, some mood lighting, a little Barry White, and high-end weaponry orders.

Giggity.  :police:

Well, some of the other Turians defiantly use a filter.  Playing Pinnacle Station today, I noticed one of the turians was voiced by the same guy that does a bunch of the salarians.  All he did was slow down his speech, and electronically modify it.

Also, for those who have played it, I would have to say I would love to see a ME3 carry-over of the Apartment you win.  I think taking Tali there would be awesome.  Alone, in the middle of a desert, you can sterilize it pretty well I think.

???

ShadowBroker DLC?

Erm... what?  You actually win an apartment in the middle of a desert for beating Pinnacle Station.

Although, I would love to see some prize like that arise from Lair of the Shadowbroker.  Perhaps Shadowbroker has a personal estate, and you get it after killing him.  Wash out the blood stains, and you have a great home!

((And if Tali is fully voiced, you could bring her there after the mission and- HHNNGGG!!!))

This thread moves fast--VERY fast.

Thank you :). Will make myself comfortable as much as possible.
I'm not an artist, I can't draw or create magnificent fanarts--but I'm quite pleased with my own writing.

Wrote this a while back, not done:
http://www.fanfictio...art_of_Darkness

Not that good with fluff or mushy stuff since I linger more on action and stuff, but could try to pull it off...

Anyway, I'll write something just as a proper gift-a background of my Shep, since I noticed some do that (pilgrimage gift :P)

Background: Colonists
Service rec.: War Hero
Allegiance: Paragade
Model: defaul Shepard.

The King of Peace. That is the name given to him at his birth, a name he disdain for its lack of personal grounds. Frederick Shepard grew up in a colony in Mindoir in a family of four, with him as the oldest son. Life in the colonies were not as what has been advertised by the Systems Alliance, or what the posters in his settlement seems to describe. Life, as it occured to him, were filled with mundane and boring tasks which he endures aside from the basic education programs given by the Alliance. Sometimes, he wished for something more; something out of the line, out of the ordinary colonial life.

Then came the Bataraians

It was all too fast for him to comprehend the events that unfold around him. The stench, the smell of death, chaos...it was anything but 'ordinary', but the sight of it taught him the meaning of fear for the first time. He saw Batarians stood by Alliance war prisoners and executes them openly, of women and children dragged to the unknown. He saw his family killed right before his eyes as they attempt to flee.

The sight of his younger sister shot on sight for defiance was the last straw for him.

Was he lucky to have been absent in the midst of the chaos with his group of misfits? He stammered and fell in a fetal position, crying his hearts out. When the Alliance came, he cursed their arrival with mockery and insults a boy of 16 could think of as they carried him away from the colony. The image of the slavers were burned in his head, and as he reached the age of 18, he swore allegiance to the Alliance military in hopes of preventing Mindoir from repeating all over again.

-------

Then came the Skyllian Blitz, an event that shaped his career as one of the Alliance's most recognized soldier. By this time, Shepard has been performing well beyond the call of duty. When he swore his allegiance, he made a pact with himself to put his name into meaning. Frederick--The king of Peace--as it meant in German, is a name he wished to uphold. When the slavers hit, he was the last one standing between them and the colonies, manning an AA-gun which covered the settlement quite nicely. When orders of retreat were given, he was amongst the small group of people who disobeyed such, but is the only individual responsible for survival of the colony. At the end of the Blitz, he was awarded the Star of Terra for his acts of courage.

Yet the shiny medal pinned in his chest meant nothing to him. For all he knew, he could never bring the dead back.

------

His assignment on the SSV Normandy came as much as a surprise to him as it is to most of the crew. The existence of a council SpecTRe is intimidating enough for him to feel unease towards the entire ordeal. When all hell breaks loose in Eden Prime, his thoughts revolves around one specific promise he made to himself:

Get everyone out alive. Of course, the death of Jenkins doesn't make things any better for him.

After Eden Prime, the whole ordeal of Saren came to his attention as he tried to convince the council to listen to humanity's demands. The ordeal, of course, had led him to meet Lt. Kaidan Alenko and Chief Sergeant Ashley Williams, a woman he sought interest in. Garrus Vakarian came next, and although his methods of a takedown were consdered extreme at some point, he applaud his skill when he shot the merc in the head during his search for evidence. Wrex joins in soon after, and despite his general outlook towards Krogans, his assistance and remarks always remind him how glad he is to have him on his side. Then came Tali'Zorah nar Rayya...

Tali was a special case for him. Despite her outlook, her figure, and the fact she is a Quarian, the sight of her and her personality reminded him of his deceased sister. She became a sister-figure for him, someone whom he would go to any length to protect. At most, he would love to find a gift for her to assist her in her pilgrimage. The Geth incursion in the Armstrong Nebula is his solution, but the thought of Tali returning to the Flotilla is something he wished never could have happen.

In the eyes of many, Shepard is known to show exceptional persuasive skills, but is also recognized to go to the extreme if it compells him to do so--Conrad Verner is a prime example of 'going extreme'.

When the decision in Vermire came to play, Shepard was forced upon choosing a fireteam leader for the Salarian STG. He was given the option of choosing Alenko or Ashley to lead. He chose the Alenko, in hopes of keeping Ashley safe from what the STG deemed to be a 'suicide mission'. For the operation, he took Wrex and--surprisingly--Tali along with him. The idea of a tech-specialist for an infiltration mission is enough to convince him to take her along with him in case security devices became a problem.

When the Geth reinforcement arrived, Shepard was burdened with a decision he knew would condemn one of his men to their deaths. When Ashley activated the nuke, he was left with a choice: save the one in the sacrifice of many, or save the many in the sacrifice of one. He chose the latter, and left Vermire with Ashley in the ground safeguarding the detonation of the bomb. That came as a slap in his face, telling him what a fool he was. Did he made the right decision? Many would consider he did. But at what cost? His decision left nothing but emptiness within him as he watch the detonation in the safety of the SSV Normandy. No matter how many he would try to save, he knew he could not save everyone.

Tali was there as she watch him cringe at his own decision, a face of sorrow that would forever burn in the mind of the young Quarian.

-----

Ilos, the final resting place of the last Protheans was the final run in his chase for Saren. He was close--Saren--was close. He believe Saren is now within arms reach, and he'll go to any lengths to stop him. For this run he took Garrus, for his determination on taking down Saren is enough to convince him he is the right man for the job. Tali came next on his list for her knowledge of the enemy, the Geth. The final battle in the Citadel led to the distruction of Sovereign in the hands of the Alliance Navy, followed with the rescue of the Ascension from imminent destruction. For all he knew, the battle was over. But the war has just begun...

The destruction of the SSV Normandy two weeks later left no regret within him as he lost consciousness due to suffocation and atmospheric entry. At least, he thought, the survival of his crew is enough of a reward for him. He has no regrets upon leaving this world for good.

-----

His revival two years later were met with scepticism from those he once seen as Allies. Anderson kept him at arms length, the council dismissed his claims and for once he wished he left the council to die on board the Ascension. And Cerberus? The thought of having to be brought to life by the organization that worked on Rachnis and Thorian creepers as shock-troopers brought upon a lot of tension between him and the organization. He was glad to have Joker and dr. Chakwas back in his side, but of all things that matter to him is the return of Garrus and Tali. That was enough to push him to work for Cerberus...at least for the time being.

"One more time," he thought. "Just one more time..."

-----

Tali's return to his life never stopped him from seeing her as an image of his long lost younger sister. When he reuinites with her for the first time in Freedom's Progress, his first reaction was to ask whether or not his gift has helped her. He was quick to lean towards her request for Prazza to be returned to the Flotilla, and he was pleased to have undermined Cerberus even further. His dissapointment came when she stated how she is unable to join him at the moment due to pressing concerns.

That change when he was tasked upon recruiting her on Haestrom.

Haestrom left a unique question within him. Listening to her audio records, her journals of the digsite, and her remarks on Quarian architecture left him asking himself how much does she really mean to him. A younger-sister figure? He let the question slide, seeing it as inappropriate and a distraction to the mission laid upon him. It was not until the trial did he slowly come into realization of his affection towards her. Garrus was there, and by God he swear he saw him smiling as he defended her furiously against the Admiralty board.

"I got better, Shepard. I got you."

That was enough to convince him to pursue her. Tali was not 'just' a 'sister-figure', and she was by far further than a close friend. He wanted to learn more of her, more than what his perception sees her to be. She meant more than a sister to him, more than a friend.

He wanted to love her.

His conversation with Tali after the events in the Alarei and the Flotilla was the last encouragement he needs to confirm his feelings. Now, or never...

Oh. . . I'm not reading so good. :pinched:

Still, never got Pinnacle Station, so my confusion is still just.

FAKE EDIT: Also, that would be really great, but not likely. The average cost to bring in a voice actor to read more lines can reach up to prices of- HNNNNNNGGGGGGGG!!!!!

There would be something Brazil has over America.  ISPs who don't regulate what you download.  I've already been slapped with two "Illegal Download Notices" from mine.  The company holds a "3 Strikes, Your Out" policy... so suffice it to say I don't do that stuff anymore.

Without routing my downloads through Canada...
