I have this theory that Alliance Marines do a suit-survival course where they have to live in the thing for a long time.  Granted, it would probably more on the order of days or a week rather than years.  But I think he'd do alright.  He's f-ing Hero of the Citadel Shepard.

However, I can imagine him getting his ear talked off by every quarian in the fleet.

Though it is fun to think of plenty of cheesy pick up lines that you can fit in after "Take out those hostiles!"  That would lead her to say "Now is not the time!"

Wha?  I've talked to LJ about it in depth a couple of times.  Guess he didn't pass along the praise?  It's not the Xen I particularly believe in, but it's a version of her that is believable.

a good Idea,  and it would be interesting but really most of the topics
would  about the immune system and the same arguments repeated again

We had a pretty good discussion about what
 movies/eastern/western/anime we  would show Tali and why. How the
themes and characters would relate  to her why she would like them ,etc 

There's something about this comment that made me feel utterly bad.
You know, I meant to be able to have an archive to track past conversations just for the sake of knowing what had been said before because just like it happens all the time an old topic gets respawned that new opinions appear, it's most probable that what people thought in the past was just as different, even if the topic was the same and the arguments were (and are) always based on the same pillars. It's not about black and white, every time someone who hasn't participated in a previous discussion gives an opinion on something that has been said before will most probably bring a new shade of gray to the subject.

Besides, I'd also say that since this isn't a techie forum, where closed stuff is discussed, and it would make no sense to me just telling people to RTFM, because there's no real f*cking manual unless Bioware says so. It's not about jailbreaking an iPhone, programming a video recorder or even getting to know how does that certain php line translate to asp (which would have more controversy than the others, but still could be able to be told to RTFM). I wouldn't even say that it could be suitable to go check what did people think about a certain subject three thousand pages before, because this is a living universe and Bioware is usually (at a pace that certainly does indeed look slow to most) bringing new products that can add new information to think about regarding a concrete discussion, and what was logical to keep as a "canon" before might sound stupid or too simple to think now.

So the whole idea was to be able to allow topics to evolve and grow, no matter how many times they might have been brought back, and not to have a reason to let them die.

Even though, I'm aware it's got to be a pain to have a thread you value closed because of the "lack of topic".

That said... There's something I was wondering. What do you guys think about quarian pregnancy? (because I assume they do get pregnant because of their... limbs) Is there any reference (I haven't been able to find) about it being the same way it happens with humans?

I... don't see why not.  He'd be stuck in a suit same as everyone else.  It might depend on just how he distinguished himself at the trial.

The Flotilla seemed welcoming enough of outsiders in Ascension, though in a way they really only wanted Kahlee Sanders, and for a specific purpose.  But they ended up letting Gillian stay, and for presumably a long time.

That is actually an idea I have for an upcoming FF of mine. Hey Cerberus might have really screwed up on bringing Shepard all the way back, well not so much as just not being able to have put all the pieces back together.

Well, it is a Pilgrimage, even by definition. Their gift is meant to reflect what the quarian in question considered valuable and even benificial. Obvious gifts, such as ship parts and even full-vessels are obvious choices, but I do think the more lateral thinkers, like Tali, are the ones that shine the most. Geth data, geth data that the quarians had not been able to decrypt in centuries is the sort of things that shows a quarians worth.

This was how the discussion came.

Its a good point.  By that logic, it seems like we have different levels of quarians, the normal ones that bring back something simple and easy like fuel/food, the people like Lia who work extra hard to get something practical, but more difficult like a ship, and then the people like Tali who are geniuses who work even harder, and get stuff like geth data.
