*edit* my mistake for some reason i thought u meant ME3
im sure there will be atleast a little bit of tension as i romanced liara in ME1 and tali in ME2. a little confrontation would be very cool

Well, no particular reason for us to stay tonight.

Ouch.

No offense, but you don't generally speak directly to us, and we usually converse with those mentioned. But, to stay on topic and not risk losing another thread, we submit our opinion that Tali's feet are far superior to human feet.

i agree im looking for romance beein a big part in ME3 and i think bioware will do that cuz its been an important part of the series. As far as Tali goes im just looking for basics, Seeing her face, take back her home world

Something looks...really painful about having your feet just be two long toes connected to the heel. :/

I kinda try to not look at the feet on Turians and Quarians for that reason.

Aww but they  are smart  fear  just makes you do stupid crap at times and if a you robot slave asked if it had a soul you would be  afraid too.    Though still they should have thought things through a little more before trying to pull the plug.

Anyways, Im eating dinner, which is awesome. Makes me wonder what kind of human food Tali would like best, assuming she could eat it without the terrible side effects (namely death). Personally, I vote for mac & cheese, since, well, frankly, because its mac & cheese.

Something tells me curry. For someone who has had to eat paste all her life, I'm sure an explosion of flavor would knock her for a loop.

Though most people who aren't used to incredibly flavorful foods have a tough time adjusting, so maybe not. Maybe chicken soup.

I do recall hearing a random fact that ostriches has two toes in order to let them run faster.  Maybe quarians got right what the humans got wrong on the evolutionary path after all.

I do know they're incredibly cute at least

Anybody find it odd that despite the problem with Quarians getting infected from stray shots in battle when their shields are down, Tali works just as normally as any other squadmate even after a suit rupture? A nice way to make the squadmate unique would be to give her loads of extra shields, but suffer an infection if shot while the shields were broken, which would deal constant damage unless Medi-Gel was used.

I came up with ways to make all the other squadmates unique like that, but they would probably fit better in their own thread.

Also, I approve of staying on-topic.

I support this. If you do start a topic PM the link to me.

Since people seemed to want this, I made a thread with the others and any different ideas people might have. (Link)

On the subject of shotguns, it's common for army engineers to use close-quarters weapons such as SMGs and shotguns, as they're rarely needed for defense in long range situations. Assault rifles and LMGs are more commonly used by rangers, marines, and basic infantry. Quarians probably do something similar, since their marines seem to use assault rifles if Kal'Reegar is any evidence. It's more likely that their ship engineers aren't even equipped, just the field engies.

Well, we might be able to start setting up topics so that they can be discussed adequately...any suggestions? I know, this one is a little stupid start off, but, think they'll make Tali use that knife on her leg anytime soon in the next game in some kind of cinematic?!? I'd kill to see it. And if Tali is in ME3, how do you think they'll introduce her into the game? Think she'll have a different suit on (again?) or a little different of design? Who knows! What about polarizing face masks! :D The possibilities for Quarians and Tali is nearly endless!

aren't quarians MUCH lighter than humans? on average about 80-90 lbs?

One thing I don't get is, why is Tali standing on like her Tippy-toes in the Party Selection screen? She never stands like that in the game.. so...

Either way, she's still adorable :wizard:

(Aww, Goodbye old thread.  Hello new one!)

Now we just need some new fics and we are good.

Speaking of Pics and Fics, when the OP gets updated, can you make sure all the links work? the ones in the last thread are plagued by 404's.:crying:

Unknown, it seems likely that they are lighter due to their smaller frames, but I wouldn't guess that low personally.

There's also the discontinuity of all quarians in game being 5'10"-6', whil its doubtful that they would be that tall.

Most wars on Earth would have been avoided too.  It's about perceptions of risk, and analysis of relative strength - when it's flawed, tragedy follows.

If Tali/Legion were able to change that set of perceptions so that the Geth and the Quarians saw each other not as enemies, but as something more positive - trading partners or even allies - then that could change.

Since human and quarian lifespans are similar, it seems possible to have a change of mindset.

Unless there's something in the Codex that says otherwise, I actually don't think so. This is because Grunt says quarians aren't as soft as humans, asari, or salarians. I took this to mean that either they had a tougher hide, much like the turians, or their muscle mass was much denser than a human. For the latter, I think that would increase their weight considerably.

Ugh. Imagine Tali relatively close in height to Shepard and weighing more. Get that extra momentum behind that pounce!

Yeah, I'm going to completely fix the OP, no more broken links, and I'll attempt to make things a lot more accessible.  I will also attempt to avoid the OP curse where all OPs completely disappear before the topic ends :?

they just seem less dense, even the male "warriors". and i remember reading in the codex or maybe on the mass effect wiki that they are of slighter build i.e lighter
