But, the part with Liselle was kind of disturbing to me, made me disgusted with Cerberus.
I felt genuinely awful that Aria had to see that.
Anyone else?

I felt bad, but was surprised Aria wasn't that beat up about it. It was really hard to tell sometimes if she wanted revenge or not. Drew could have done more with it, but he didn't.

Don't family ties run kindof thin with the asari? I mean Liara/Benezia, Samara/Morinth, Nassana/Dahlia and probably a few other examples I can't think of off the top of my head.
(Hope that doesn't come across as xeno-racist)

Aria has a very cool demeanor, though....she needs to have one given her profession. She could be hurting greatly and just not showing it.
I haven't read the book, like I said, so I'm just throwing random ideas out there.

Yeah, but I mean from her inner prospetive, she doesn't seem that beat up about it. Her inner thoughts say she wants to kill Grayson maybe out of revenge or profit, but it doesn't go further then that.

wait... so someone went and broke the only rule of Omega? Why? (I havn't read the book yet)
Because Paul Grayson was hiding there. Since he was something of a rat, and he had prior experience with the Collectors, TIM decided to turn him into the next David Archer.

Given how ME2 lampshades the events of Ascension, I have a sinking feeling in ME3 some mention of Retribution will come up, or they may even be a side mission which directly connects.

Famaly ties are close with Asari. Aria was just smart enough not start running around like a head less chicken. She had a moment of shock when she saw her daughter and then went to bisness to find Grayson who she thinks kill her daughter. She was pissed but level head enough to work calmly.Maestro975 wrote...

Yeah, but I wanted a bit more then just a moment. I wanted to know more about her relationship with her daughter, and how she's dealing with her death.

That said, what does Cerberus wanting this Grayson fellow have to do with slicing up some asari? Are these books worth getting?
