I went to Redcliffe and decided to use the Circle of Magi's to get me into the fade so that both the kid and his mother could live. Once I got to the top of the Tower, I was put under the spell by Ulder (sic?) and ended up in The Fade. The party members I had were Shale, Zevran, Wynne, and I was a lvl 12-13 Rogue. I got the mouse and fire man abilities first (in that order) and defeated the demon to release Zevran. When I approached him in his Nightmare, I talked to the demons who were torturing him and eventually fought and defeated them. Then when I talked to Zevran, once he was standing next to the rack, it went back to the scene where he was being tortured by the two demons. After going through the same prompts (sorry I don't remember the exact sequence) and went back to where I would have fought the demons, but they did not appear. I talked to Zevran again and it looped back to the same scene of him being tortured. After this third time, I thought I was screwed, but I walked up and touched the pedestal (I think I press start and couple times to) and then it triggered the scene with Zevran where he was now free. Kinda weird and I'm not sure if something I did earlier in the game could have affected that (giving Zevran gifts, asking him to teach me assassin).
Secondly, there's a race condition occurring when you come out of the start menu (save game, load game, etc.) and the select menu (inventory, etc) that if you hit the pause (L2) too quickly, the action circle appears while the action is still ocurring in real time behind it. Then if you press (L2) again, it closes the action circle and then the game pauses, so you can't select an action. This can be worked around by pressing start or select again and entering the menu and then exiting it and waiting about 1 second before hitting the pause (L2).
Not sure if these have been reported yet or not, but thought I'd let someone know.
And I also like to add a little praise to, because the game is one of the best I've played in a while. I've been thinking that Final Fantasy XIII better be perfect, otherwise this game could best it hands down.
