Hello,
I recently noticed that all the specializations that I had unlocked during play are lost to me right now.
I think this might have something to do with the fact that I recently started playing while logged in? I'm saying this because I noticed that all achievements that I had achieved during offline play haven't been recorded. Which is also when I unlocked some specializations.
Right now I can't relearn them from my party members as I already have done so before..
Does anyone know if there is a solution to this? I don't really want to go and buy all the books as a "remedy".
Thanks!
Unlocked specializations lost..

Be careful with the following. It could break stuff but if you're feeling frisky you could use the console to give yourself back the specialization
How to enable console: Make shortcut to daorigins.exe, found in bin_ship, on your desktop. At the end of the target line add -enabledeveloperconsole. Dont forget the space.
The target line end should look like this: "daorigins.exe" -enabledeveloperconsole
Make sure you have the character target that you want to have the specialization
Then open the console using `, then type runscript addtalent X where X is the talent number listed below. I believe when using the console you won't see what you're typing so type carefully.
Champion: 4013
Assassin: 4014
Bard: 4015
Berserker: 4016
Blood Mage: 4017
Shapeshifter: 4018
Reaver: 4019
Ranger: 4029
Duelist: 4030
Templar: 4021

Hmm, I just tested that. It sure works, however its not exactly the solution I was hoping for. When you use those commands the specialization gets applied to the character right away, not just unlocked. Also it doesn't spend your specialization point.
Another solution I've tried is buying a spec. book, saving your game on a new save. Load a save game from before buying the book and your character will still have the skill unlocked and you have your cash back. I don´t think arcane warrior has a book however
(console code for Arcane warrior is 4012 btw)

Yah, I know mate, it wasn't exactly what you were looking for but I wanted to get ya going and we don't have a direct solution to the issue yet with restoring an unlock.
Also, the reason why that buying book thing works is specialization unlocks carry through between playthroughs and characters. So if character #1 playthrough #1 unlocks Templar. You can become a templar on Character #2, playthrough #2 without having to seek out the unlock.

Hey, A possible solution for your issue, if you created a different account previously on that computer, the Achievements and specializations you had unlocked would be associated with that profile. To get them back you would have to log into the other account. Hope this will help you.

I have a similar problem - me and my BF share the same computer but with two different accounts. My account was created as first and I got those unlocks before him. Yesterday I've noticed that all my specialization unlocks are gone, strange since they were working fine (specced my rogue as a bard, was planning adding assasin). After that I got Isabela to teach me Duelist in the game - I couldn't use it - it was shown as locked even tho I got message about it unlocking and whatnot. Any ideas?

A couple of questions regarding this issue
1) When you say you got Isabella to teach you duelist was this in a separate play session from when you tried to take this specialization?
2) When you say that you and you BF share the same computer are you actually logging into your account every time you play?
You would be able to load your character when playing on his account. If you are playing logged out the specialization would unlock for whomever was logged in last. I would try logging into his account to make sure these specializations weren't accidentally unlocked on the wrong account.

1) Yes, it was in the same play session, I was nearing lvl 14 and wanted to check on lvl up is it worth being assasin or should I go duelist. The problem is that all specializations are gone, my char is specced as a Bard but now it's shown as locked on my account (and all specializations I got were locked on his). He's having similar issue with Blood Mage missing.
2) Yes, both of us always log on our accounts. Never playing in offline mode.
