I guess I will soon become a pc elitist whiner as well as a casual dumb console gamer....great worst of both worlds.Oh well the main prize is the game so I will be fine.
Think of it as an exciting career as a double agent, and enjoy.

I might get flamed for this, but I think that Origins had some fat that should have been trimmed. It felt too long in places like The Deep Roads because all you're doing is fighting waves after waves of repetitive enemies. It's very long and it lacks the depth and options of a quest like Redcliffe. In retrospect, I feel it would have been better if they removed some parts of the dungeon crawl (making Jarvia's hideout shorter, removing some of the Deep Roads areas) here and maybe fleshed out the Bhelen/Harrowmont conflict better.
I think Origins would have benefited from being maybe ten or fifteen hours shorter, if only by getting rid of some of the repetitive combat encounters, especially in Orzammar / The Fade. For reference, my first playthrough took me around 65 - 70 hours, but other peole's experiences might differ.
A shorter game might make it easier to make quests with more solutions / consequences to them. I'd rather have a short, tightly constructed game than a long game with plenty of filler in between.

Sorry, but I roll my eyes at thee. Seeing an alpha test video with a handful of character models, PLACEHOLDERS at that, and about 10 screenshots and you say that "DA2 seems rushed" ?

true. It does make sence since ME2 was shorter than ME1 but better graphics (if this is a valid logical assumption). .
No it wasn't. ME1 was much shorter, just had those stupid collection quests with the boring Mako and messing around with the crappy inventory took agesKlimy wrote...

Higher res textures. parallax occlusion mapping, screen space ambient occlusion and tessellation not very time consuming. Make game not look like 1999 (see below).
Anti-aliasing also make game not look 1999 grainy vegetation.
