Vampire Specialization

I've only seen this in Elder Scrolls 4, where you could create a character that could be a vampire or zombie with rapid health regen.
Do you think we'll get anything like this in DA2?

Vampires, though? Undead issue aside, wouldn't the various aspects of vampire lore simply be integrated into other specializations? Turn into bat = shapeshifting, draining blood = blood magic, etc.

I'm 99.9% sure we won't get anything like this in DA2. The writers have said that DA's equivalent of vampires are far too monstrous for any social interaction.sinthetic17 wrote...

Win.
Anyway, I'd love to get something (class, specialization, amulet, anything) that grants you low but very quickly-renegerating health. That'd be awesome. I know it's quite a stretch from the base game mechanics, but a man can dream.

As for zombies, yeah, those are reanimated corpses in DA, so you couldn't really become one, per se. Even if a spirit were to animate your corpse, that wouldn't be your character anymore, that would be the spirit. Like Justice-- he's not Kristoff anymore. I suppose there could be a plot centered around a spirit such as him animating a corpse, though.
Ghouls are kind of like zombies in the Resident Evil sense, though.

Lord I hope not. I especially hated the Oblivion vampires, though mostly because they ruined all that time I spent in the character creator by mutating my poor ranger in to a fugly old man. I would much rather they expanded blood magic. That's about as close as I ever want them to come to vampirism in this game.
I don't think I ever bothered with them in Oblivion, but I do remember trying to navigate Morrowind entirely at night without being able to talk to 90% of the npcs. *Shivers*.
Anyway, I don't think it fits DA as well as it fits Elder Scrolls.

Don't forget the teenage angst and drama. Oh and a girl who has no personality of her own so that anyone can relateDave of Canada wrote...

I'd like to see an expansion of blood magic and its more sinister uses. For example, we're told blood mages can control the minds of others. I suppose being about to use it in-conversation or in gameplay as a domination ability would be reminiscent of vampiric thralls. Or perhaps the ability to puppeteer a dead corpse to your will, kind of like a cross between the Dead of the Abhorsen trilogy and Bloodbending from Avatar. (I have them on my mind since I just rewatched/reread them) Probably the closest you could get to something "undead."
We already have a spell to summon an undead from a corpse and control them - in Spirit section called "Animate dead"

Well Twilight sold good, giving such thing might be the one thing needed to get 10.000.000 copies of the game sold.
They would have to change the game to the point where you have two choices for a name: Edward or Jacob.

Also, /agree with most of the above comments. It's a nifty idea, but doesn't fit into the lore really and would be hard to implement.
