Conan isn't a big jerk. Well, I suppose you could argue that Arnie-Conan is a big jerk... but he gets high and punches out a camel for looking at him funny, so I like him anyway.Rubbish Hero wrote...
I like Aragon in Lord Of The Rings movies because he seems introvert and rather modest. Self assured without speaking every 2 minutes. Conan just a big jerk. Why would you want to play as a big jerk?

Hee hee
Anyway I can see some similarites between Hawke and Conan. But of course there will be differences. Hawke can be a mage while Conan hates magic and trickery. But I also think that there is too little to known info on Hawke before I can jump to conclusions... I can't wait to see!

when I am writing that last part i think "I wonder if any one going to bring up Transformers" and well you did, maybe I should have wrote it better?
Nah we all enjoy a bit of Transformers related distraction.
Its nice to be distracted from comparing a character we know next to nothing about to a character we knew not a whole lot about.

Maker, I have never prayed to you before. I have no tongue for it. No one, not even you, will remember if I was a good man or bad. Why I fought, or why I died. All that matters is that few stood against many. That's what's important! Valor pleases you, Maker... so grant me one request. Grant me revenge! And if you do not listen, then to HELL with you!

KROM!!
I would pre-order right now if they said you could wander the gameworld randomly saying "KROM!!" in an amazed tone. It would be like a game version of my trips to the mall.

Quick bit of advice, telling bouncers that you should be allowed into the bar because its the will of Krom isn't as helpful as you might think.

Okay, that one I was going to step up to.
I have always been amazed that so many Conan fans were so displeased with Arnie's portrayal in the film(s). His hair was the wrong color, sure, but I always thought he captured Conan pretty darned well. (especially in the first film) Not to mention the fact that numerous scenes from the movie were directly taken from Howard's stories.
Conan would feel out of place in DA - especially since he did most of his adventuring alone or with 1 other companion. (and then usually only at the start until that companion died) Sure he lead pirates, armies and bandits, but they weren't "party members" in any real sense.
I would like to see DA2 be more "down to earth gritty" in the way many of the Conan stories fealt. Even when he was fighting frog gods and giant apes the stories were always more personal than epic.
