it seems like every time i play this game and save the game the file becomes corrupt and i cant load it. how can i play this game if every save i make becomes corrupt? i seem to have virtually no time to game anymore at all, id appreciate it if this game didnt destroy what little time i do have because bioware cant have their game work enough for me to be able to even save anymore. temptation to sell this game and cancel dragon age 2 pre-order is overwhelming, i seem to not have time to game anymore let alone deal with their massively time wasting technical bull****.
have you been selling a lot of things to just one merchant? that can make your save corrupt but should be fixed when the new patch re-releases . other than that i do not know what can be wrong

I'm on the 360 (US version) and I have two different characters that have this problem with corrupted saves. I was affraid that it was a DLC problem. So Lajkos, are you saying that the problem could be selling to many items to one merchant? I know I have be selling a lot to Bohan in my camp.
yea it should be that you sell a lot to just one merchant.
if it was a dlc problem you should get a message that (the name of the dlc) has gone corrupt or something like that. if it only says that the save game i corrupt than it should be the merchant corruptions

Ok, thanks. I thought as much, but wanted to ask anyway. I'm going to go back to a save that works tonight and try not selling as much to a single merchant and see if I can work around it that way for the time being. Anyidea about how much i can get away with selling to a single shop?

sadly no i have no idea when the bug kicks in, but it should be pretty easy to see if the save workes.
just load, than save right away and load that save as soon as you make it
But most of the time the huge amount of gear you will sell comes from after a main quest part and most of them have a merchant in the "starting are" exampel Vearthor (spelling) in the dalish camp. so after you finish for exampel the nature of the beast and have a lot of gear sell it in the dalish camp and not in your party camp. and than you should be fine

"The problem is merchant by merchant. Just spread your selling around Ferelden (i.e. don't sell everything to Bodahn in camp) and you'll never encounter this problem. Each merchant has a maximum inventory # of 548 slots, independent of the others."
from here: http://adultgamingen...530/460030.aspx
I've seen other explanations that indicate it's the number of certain items - for example, 87 health pots only count as 1 item, 99 fire arrows count as 1 items, but 7 grey iron long swords count as 7. There's also some glitch where, when you sell things, they show up not in his inventory, but in his junk/buy back tab, which actually increases the count somehow . . . 82 fire arrows to sell, 5 in buy back = 2 fire arrows, or something like that.
Bottom line is, as said before, try to spread out your selling, at least until the new patch comes out.
I still sell Bodahn the majority of my stuff, and anything that I *might* at some point want back - like arrows - but I'll sell a lot of simple stuff - leather armor, daggers, gems, etc - to the nearest merchant to where I picked it up, to try to avoid that problem.
