An ATI HD 2400 isn't SUPPOSED to be able to run this game. It might perhaps "walk" with it at extra low resolutions and image quality settings, but any mobs on screen would all shift into stop motion. .

http://www.gpureview...1=561&card2=472

Compared to a practical minimum, it only gets 30%, 45%, and 45% of the numbers.

The officially published system requirements are a silly, stupid, bad joke, but EA will refuse to support that list, with the exception of the last two Radeons, which will "sort of" work, if the resolution is dropped some, with the image quality.  The 3470 and the 4350, unsupported, are capable of the same, extra low setting bad excuse for running.

Officially, as a general standard, a "Minimum" card can offer 25-30 FPS at Medium Resolutions and Low Image Quality settings.  The same card, at Low resolutions, can run Medium and better image quality, without much of a drop in frane rates.  Many budget game players have lower standards than the developers and will accept 15-20 FPS rates, Low Resolutions, and Low Image Quality, but they will get no official support while doing so.

The official minimum Radeon was the X1300 XT, which was stupid, because they turned right around and said that it wasn't good enough under its original name, when the exact same card was called the X1600 Pro.  And I warned them of this stupidity six weeks before the PC version came out, but was ignored.  The X1550 named as suitable for a Vista-equipped PC is a much worse POS than the X1600 Pro, of course.

P. S.  Because the ME-2 game uses a video card feedback mechanism for interactions, the difference between the official minimum and what works at terrible low standards is different, because the gamers whos standards are very low have been skipped over.  The game absolutely MUST always be running faster than 15 FPS, period.

TTBOMK, you shouldn't be able to find another HD 2n00, nor any HD 3n00s, and especially no X1n00 cards any more, unless you buy them used.  The HD 4n00 were 2008 year cards, and the HD 3n00 were 2007 year cards.  Before that, ATI wasn't as regular about release dates as nVIDIA was (the two swapped places in that regard).  The HD 2n00s were probably from 2006, with the X1n00s being the generation older than those.

The HD 2n00 generation was a major disappointment to everyone, but they also were the last "large scale" GPU series, after which, ATI shrank their chip sizes way, way down.
