Oh, I love companion customization. In DAO I've made Morrigan an arcane warrior and dressed her in Blood Dragon Armor. By the end of the game with all buffs activated her armor and defense were so high, that it was essentially God Mode on. I love such things, really.
That said, writers should remember that companions are customizable. In my games Anders never wore robes, yet Oghren still taunted him.
Will you still be able to change the armor of your companions?

If they remove the armor system ill be extremely sad. Half the fun I had in DAO was searching for special weapons and armor like the Juggernaught armor and the Keening blade. If they remove this they will be draining a bit of the life of Dragon Age (in my eyes at least).
