Mod finally worked. I used it on Morrigan (at lvl 7). The only issue is that with mod enabled at levelup i get 2 stat points for each point invested. Workaround is to switch mod on. Reset. Switch off. Lvl up.
I've already fixed the double attribute issues.
My only problem is that Virulent Walking Bomb and Tempest crashes the game, everything else seems to work and I really am out of ideas why this happenes. Most probably gonna skip these two spells and release source code so the rest of you can take a look at it. Maybe you are cleverer than I am :/

Always hated that in most rpg's every companion is always set as a specific classcombo, give me my dwarven tank!

I would like to apoligize to everyone who had issus with the initial release. It was a bad one :/ Hopefully this one is much better, even though there are still a couple of issues that need fixing.
For this release the source code is also available, and I'm asking everyone who feels adept at scripting to try to take a look at the issue with Virulent Walking Bomb and Tempest skills.
Going to edit the opening post to reflect the change

Thanks weriKK, was just wondering, does this include the points given to us by items like the tome from the CE?
Absolutely

Thanks! Also found your weapon stat calculations and creating a custom item tutorial very helpful for a guy like me with limited time [Army life drains most of your hours, haha, and unfortunately, in this country, it's mandatory].

Edit: Scratch that, I don't know what caused it but restarting the client helped.

1.2 - Fixed the client crashes upon resetting casters (hopefully, only could test with premade characters)
1.2 - Disabled resetting of DLC character Shale until the abilities are implemented
As always, you can get it from my project page: Character Respecialization Mod v1.2
The source code is also available as a separate download.

Any word on this? I never had the issue but I haven't leveled since respeccing.scootermcgaffin wrote...
Someone on another forum I go to found a big bug that could possibly (note emphasis) be related to this mod.
After his character leveled up from 12 to 13, he didn't receive any attribute points.
This was also with the 1.0 release so it may not be relevant at all.

v1.0 had some issues indeed, might be related to that.

All the info is there, it won't take away spec points or unlock them but it is a way to bypass the requirements.

have you fixed the mod not going above 100 points?

It's not an error with the mod. It's a bug in the UI. The counter can not show more than 100, but it keeps track of all of your points. You can open the level up screen a second time to get the rest of the points.

Which character did you try to use it on?
What class are you if you tried to use it on yourself?
What other custom addons do you have enabled?
