I wonder... will Hawke travel around the land in a camp as in Origins or will he have a set residence as in Awakening? Or will it be some weird combination between the two? Either/or, perhaps? Does he ally himself with a Dalish tribe and use an aravel or something?

He and his friends reside in his beard.

I definitely want Hawke's headquaters to be located in a brothel. At the very least in an inn.

Now that's an awesome paradox.

Well, the game spans ten years so I'd imagine his and his companions' base would change over time.

I would just like a camp that moves throughout the game instead of one set place

That would be pretty cool if his residence changed as his power and influence grew. As soon as he arrives in Kirkwall, penniless, it could be a run-down shack, then slowly upgrade from there.

I like the idea of a shack or inn. Something that sort of combines Vigil's Keep and the camp.

His beard is a little bit like a Bag of Holding from D&D, but for people and animals.

Hawke works for Cerberus and will reside in the Collector base.

If you blew it up, his beard rebuilt it.

Oh, god I hope there's an actual base. I'd love to have a more interactive Vigil's Keep like area. Then again, I'm always a sucker for seeing my actions change landscape.

Just play the game again and now imagine that the camp is moving throuhout the place as you travel all over Ferelden. That is in fact the recent the camp is situated in a box on the top right corner of your map and not actually marked anywhere on said map.

That sounds dangerous. You might never find your way out.

Don't worry though, crumbs from his food will be enough to nourish you on your endless journey.

I do like the option of having a permanent base where things could be build and people hired to assist your cause (better blacksmiths etc) and I always wondered why in DA:O they always seemed to camp in the same area. Kind of silly.

Will just have to see.

He has a frigate called the Ferelden SR-1.
