Catgut is material of higher tier then Duncan beard hair. Awakening only.

That seems unlikely, as I'm fairly certain that Duncan could block crossbow bolts with his beard.

Anyone remember Ranger's bow in the dungeons and dragon's cartoon from the 80s? That was awesome.

Framed narrative folks. The narrator just forgot the bowstrings, they are still there nevertheless.

All bows use strings of Duncan's beard, which is naked to the invisible eye.

Nuh-uh. According to my excursions into Awakening, the invisible bowstrings are actually catgut.

...Unless "catgut" is slang for "Duncan beard hair".

Duncan's beard hair is twenty times stronger than diamonds and invisible to the naked eye!

I have absolutely no problem with no bowstings at all, id rather the money spent on something else.

I was a rogue on my first playthrough and didnt notice it at all untill i showed my friend the game and he played the Dalish Elf origin story and at the beggining he is pointing a bow at some humans. My friend and i noticed how there was no bowstring

I'd like to see you swing a sword with no blade or use magic with no fingers!

Bowstrings would be good for PC's that can handle the extra work, my little white portable heater & white noise generator would be better served with the status quo.

Lightsabers don't exist in the world of Thedas.

At least not yet.

I'm not sure about the existance of Incantations.

Yeah, everyone knows that to cast spells you have to do a little dance and point your fingers at the sky. You NEED fingers.

Warriors: I'll charge head first into the bloodthirsty darkspawn with my blade in hand, they shall know fear as I slaughter them! Mwah ha ha!

Rogues: Those foolish darkspawn won't know what hit them.. by the time they realise they died, I'll be long gone. Mwah ha ha!

Mages: Yeah.. I'll be here... wiggling my fingers at them and stuff. Mwah ha ha?

When using staff, you don't need fingers. Gluing it to your arm would be sufficient.

It embues each arrow with the power of the Arrow Of Slaying.
