In denerim, the alien sector won't open for me.

Did I miss something major along the way?

You can't enter the alianage until you've started "Landsmeet" during that you'll be given a quest "Unrest in the Alainage" and you'll be able to enter it.

You'll go there later in the story.



If you mean that you have the quest to go there and they still won't let you, then I don't know.

Ah cool, haven't done landsmeet yet, that's next on my list.
