class info in PC Gamer (Sweden)

"In any case, you can't look past the fact that the changes are plenty. Another example of this is that you only have three classes to chose from in the sequel: mage, warrior and rogue."
These are the same base classes we had in DA:O so I interpret this as the change being that we won't have any specialized classes in DA 2.
Could a dev confirm this? Or was the author of the article just mistaken perhaps?

In the latest issue of PC Gamer (Sweden) there's a six page preview of DA 2. Most of the info is the same that's already been seen on the Internet. Except for a small part regarding the available classes. I quote (translated from Swedish):

We still have specializations.

did they say anything about the plot of the cheesy wheels???
No new info about the plot I'm afraid. It was just 6 pages of what we already know.

And they wrote 6 pages only with that? Geesh...either they've put one screenshot on each page and a tiny text or they babbled a lot!

I wish we could get a preview in a UK magazine. I'll give Bioware five crumpets if they do!
Nothing ever comes to the UK first. Even movies open 2 months here after they do everywhere else. I'm getting a job in Sweden.

Lol, try France! You'll be grateful for the UK after a month here

Buying bread from a man in Brussels
He was six foot four and full of muscles
I said, "Do you speak-a my language?"
He just smiled and gave me a vegemite sandwich
And he said,
"I come from a land down under
Where beer does flow and men chunder
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder?
You better run, you better take cover."

The Dragon Age world doesn't have any classes. You have the three basic archetypes and a number of specializations.Lem Lemoncloak wrote...

I hate shoddy journalism. It's just lazy
They just forgot to write about specializations.
Or, the interview they had with Mike didn't mention them.
And forgot to ask that particular question.

I was quoting what the article said. Don't shoot the messenager.
But all in all, it was probably just a simple missunderstandning by the guy who wrote it.
I'm just glad it's cleared up.
