Yes, this is about the character t-shirt poll created by a BioWare employee.

While, I'm appreciative of the thought put into this poll, I just wonder why some favorite Mass Effect characters were not included in this poll, like...Ashley, Kaidan, and Wrex.

The poll title is, 'BIOWARE OFFICIAL - IF YOU HAD TO WEAR YOUR FAVORITE ME CHARACTER...' and I'm aware that it then goes on to specify 'Mass Effect 2 characters', but last time I checked, these characters were in Mass Effect 2, if only for a short time.

Liara also had a smaller role in ME2, compared to ME1, but she was included in the poll, while these others were not...

What gives?

Agreed, j. I mean how can Wrex and especially Ashley and Kaidan not in this poll? Those two were invovled in what is probably the hardest decision in ME for most players. I mean WTF? Are they not important enough anymore? That's not cool, BW.

Thanks for making this, Jlb. I think it seems unfair, as well. Why is it that we Virmire Survivor fans keep getting shafted?

They seem to be more popular than characters like Samara/Morinth/Zaeed, so this is odd.

There are 20 available options on polls for these forums, the Bioware employee who made that poll only chose 15 characters. Did he just forget about characters like Samara, Zaeed, Ashley, Kaidan and Wrex, or did he really think that EDI and Harbinger count more than them?



I'd really like to hear from dlarke about how he decided whom to include.

i don't want to seem negative. but does it really matter? tali could've been excluded from poll options and still would have won by a large majority of votes. no character, no matter how beloved, is going to beat Tali in a character popularity contest on the BSN.

I think we all know that. It's that Ash/Kaidan weren't included, period, that bugs us.

Well said, Liam.  I can understand why they weren't included from a new player/marketing perspective ... but every little snub stings ... and as a fan/supporter of the VS, those stings are adding up quickly.
