i have no idea why some tali and garrus fans feel the need to drop by and make this thread about them. guess what it isn't. not everything on this forum revolves around those two. this is about neglecting established characters in the mass effect franchise. if you cannot contribute to that dialogue, go promote your fandoms elsewhere.

But some of them think that because their characters were given immense amounts of fanservice that suddenly they can ignore all sense of decency and act like toddlers.

Oh man Virmire and Horizon my most hated places in the whole Galaxy, thanks Bioware^^
anyway i don't know but it "seems^^" that the majority of the ME fans just don't like the Virmire survivors because
LOOK *pointing to direction* they release a Liara DLC (ok its the Shadowbroker story) but still
there is maybe a surprise waiting for us in the future.

just noticed the poll today, and it's completely ridiculous!
I mean they put in EDI, Joker, and Harbinger over characters like Ash, Kaidan, and Wrex. Also, I didn't notice a Samara on the poll either. Talk about not playing favorites .... the poll seems to say otherwise.

It would be utterly hilarious and politically incorrect to make a tali themed line of burqas. It would sell and make people rage at the same time.
Its possible they already had their art department create designs for several of the characters, and they're only using the poll to pick among those. Which would explain the convenient exclusion of some characters.

Seriously...You guys really need to argue about this?
I'm also frustrated by Bioware disowning the VS simply as to not make ME2 too referential. In all honesty Bioware really ought to be catering for the fans who've bought and played both games, not focus on snaring new ones. I get the "we need to make more money"-bit, but I'd rather they didn't cut my favourite characters just so they can appeal to a wider audience. As for the game reviewers, they can go suck something sour if you ask me.
Anyway, I've not lost faith in Bioware yet. They have some good time on them to produce some more DLC, and take more of my hard-earned money, so maybe they'll release something to appease us Ashley/Kaidan fans before ME3 comes out...
And if they don't, I'll be the first person to launch a naked assault on their headquarters. ¬_¬

It would be nice if those characters were in the poll. But there is a bigger concern. We need to put aside our disappointment. We need to overcome our differences. We need to stand together, united! Tali or Garrus cannot be allowed to win this stupid poll!

I do not mind if Tali wins this poll with Garrus in a close second. I really don't.
I think the Wrex/Ash/Kaidan fans simply want an acknowledgement of their favorite character in some way. I mean, really, I don't think EDI is going to win this poll, but she's on there. Again, it's simply about the fact that continued ignoring of the virmire survivor character is making fans of ashely/kaidan concerned that those characters are going to be eaten by plot gremlins forever. And not having Wrex on there is just strange.
By all means, make the Tali hoodies or whatever. Just please include all major ME2 characters in a major ME2 characters poll (and yes, Ash/Kaidan should be there if Kasumi, Harbinger, and EDI are. Thank you.).
