Normally I wouldn't bother mentioning control schemes for games as they are already a done deal, but since DA2 is still a while off I figured I'd at least put my two cents out there.
I was lucky enough to have a chance to play the DA2 Promo/Demo (which was great) at Comic Con and something wasn't sitting right with me about spell casting. In my opinion I think the cancel button for spells should not be the same as a button that can initiate spells. The way it's set up now, it's very easy to cancel out of the spell initiated by hitting the B button since hitting the B button again will cancel out. Since the A button isn't used for initiating any spells, it would make more sense (IMHO) to have the same button you pushed to initiate the spell to confirm/execute the spell, and then use the A button to cancel the spell if you need to. I think this would pick up the combat pace and make things flow smoother.
Hope that makes sense.
Does anyone else who has had a chance to play DA2 (or anyone at all for that matter) have an opinion on the matter?
