I was doing that Quest where you do the summoning rituals in the library i did all three which were in the book.

I then did a fourth which summoned Arl Foreshadow. He said something but i didn't catch it cause my sound was too low. What is the point in him being summoned? I didn't get a quest or anything? No Item from him ... he just summoned then disappeared?

You should be able to pickpocket him to get something about books or something... I forget. Might be important somehow, might be an easter egg, but I don't know.

how do find out the order to do the fourth summon? I saw this and was really curious how to make it happen

The fourth is simply the other three back to back without interruption.

That is an easter egg in the game. You can steal a note from him if you have high enough skill which I did not have. Can anyone tell me what the note said?

the 4th goes like this.

on the third level of the tower you will see three statues touch them in this order:

left right center. and then do not touch them again



after that when you head to fight sloth demon there will be one more statue you can touch in that room.



once you complete the magi circle quest and talk to everyone; go and touch the basement door and it will summon the 4th demon.

It is an easter egg, if you can't tell that by the NPCs name that is summoned, I suppose I would just have to blame the failing of the educational system and bad parenting.

Lord Foreshadow was also in Baldur's Gate, hinting at the return of neverwinter nights, whats the codex entry on the Arl?

where is the 4th summoning flame? I can't seem to find it. ;(

EDIT: Nevermind, I found it.

But I can't seem to find the Codex entry.. what number/section is it in?

To do the fourth summoning you need to touch everything you did in order for the first through third summoning EXCEPT you only touch the summoning font once to initiate the sequence and there are no first through third summoning fires to touch so just bypass those steps. The fourth summoning fire is in the next room behind a bookcase. Finally, you'll need better than second-level stealing to pickpocket him. At least I couldn't with Leliana at second level stealing.
