So I just played the Hammerhead DLC and I want to point out that when comparing the original Mako controls to the new Hammerhead, there has been a laarrrge improvement; so well done Bioware. I actually found controlling the Hammerhead enjoyable. 

Two things you might want to consider though.

1. The Hammerhead is reeaally fragile for something called the "Hammerhead"; its kind of annoying how quick you can be shot down by the time you receive a visual representation of low health.

2. The level design definitely needs some improvement; as much as the controls have been refined, I feel like the level design for vehicle terrain has been relatively unchanged aside from some platforming. Perhaps bringing in a developer with vehicle focused level design experience would be helpful if you wish for more vehicle goodness in ME3.
