I'm back with more questions for you all! I can't help it. I'm chock full of 'em.

Anyway, there are a lot of recruitable characters in this game, and I have no idea who to bring with me. So I just got to Nashkel, and I've got a full party of six, but then when you meet more people, you have to kick somebody out. I click the first option, the one that says something along the lines of "Stay here and wait until I come back" But will they actually do that? I don't want to risk losing anyone.

Sorry for all my questions! This is the last one... probably.Image IPB

They will wait, however if party member is left behind in area that you can not return to again - it will be lost.

Yes, NPCs will wait where you left them if you select that option. Bear in mind NPCs do not gain XP while they're not in the party.

Bring on the questions. It's boring around here without them.

That shouldn't happen if BG1 NPC is installed.

They don't gain XP? Well that sucks.... Oh well, at least they'll still be there.

Things in BG are a bit more complex when it comes to XP than they are in DA:O. Whoever you leave behind, isn't part of your party. not directly. So they won't just wonder around killing things for fun to gain a few levels by themselves ;)

There are only a couple of places that close themselves though so it is not a huge deal.

The target areas (as in the place you are sent) for chapter 4 and chapter 6 are the only 2 instances of area lockouts that I can think of.
