Whatever decisions you make are remarked upon throughout the game...no waiting until the end of the game to find out how your companions felt about what you did. Hmmm....i guess we had better be careful...very careful. :)

Hawke: (muttering to himself) Damn....i messed that up...hope the others didn't notice.
Other 1: Idiot.
Other 2: Now see what you did? Are you insane or what?
Other 3: My dog could of done better than that.

Yes. it's going to be a happy time in DA2...i just know it. :)

More like...

Hawke: Die bastard!

(Blood spilled everywhere)

5 years later...

NPC: My name is Iñigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.

In DA: Origins, I've too found that both Morrigan and Flemeth were fairly unreliable narrators of their own stories, and don't get me started on Lelianas's story, the one she tells after you've gotten her personal quest. To me, her story is fairly unreliable, there's something in the voice and also something in the way her body language is that makes me question how truthfull she is - when she tells me the story.

And from Loghain's point of view, King Cailan did get what he deserved, and so his death was his own doing. And as for Wynne's story and her personal quest, maybe she's not completely telling the truth?

The npcs in this game seem to be people that have their own motivations and reasons to travel with the Warden; as such they seek to embellish their tales to make themselves look better. Just like people in real life sometimes do...

As for how it will be, this narration, in DA2, we don't know much yet. I sort of hope they'd do it like The Witcher did it. You side with the elves in the beginning, later you'll get a cutscene, telling you what happened. You choose to save an important person, you'd get another cutscene sometime later on.

Well, given that Leliana finally tells the truth in her own dlc, Leliana's Song
- maybe she thought she had good reasons to alter some details... .[smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/whistling.png[/smilie]

Except for a single journal entry goof that dlc imho pints the way the
DA RTP game should go - they even got ambient and combat music right
there.

Well, we have been told that whatever is occuring in that DLC is being embellished somewhat.

I distinctly recall the promotional material mentioning that because Leliana is telling you the story as a bard, she is making some parts more "dramatic" than they might have been in real life.  Even within the game, I thought this made sense--for example, the almost divine shaft of light at the beginning of the prison sequence.

It took me till the end of Leliana's song to figure this out at which point I had to replay it to pick up all the physical representations of Leliana's emotions.  I'm a moron....shocking I know.

After watching this interview.. I get the feeling that the PC users.. might get ripped off agian... by making the game smaller because of consuls and that's just stupid because they should have improved more on their best version of the game which was PC...and just improve combat and some other stuff on the consuls.

Baically it seems to me as they are taking 1 step forward and 3 step back...because they really could have improved much more.. if they just fouced on the pc AND then on the consuls

Wrong ?
Actually that's just her old body, she couldn't have been killed by the warden by the time Hawke flees Lothering.

I just thought she looks really like the female qunari there.

Isn't it implied in Return to Ostagar that he DID actually conspire with Orlais?

HE WAS THE F******** KING!!! LOL

How do you conspire against the crown while being the King? He just had an agenda different than Loghain; Cailan wanted an alliance with Orlais, thats no conspiracy...

So what ? Kings serve the country and the nobility. They were monarchies where king was just a glorified clerk. While this is not the case with Ferelden, I get the vibe that king is just a step beyond the nobles who hold the real power.

Actually, this is the case--they mention how Orlais views Ferelden as being very odd, since the power rises up from the Bannorn, rather than descending from the monarchy. The king is simply the most important teyrn. Which is what makes Loghain that much more dispicable--for a man who claimed to love his country, he sure as hell tried to undo everything that made it what it was.

As a student of military history, I wish someone would explain to Mike Laidlaw that "fight like a Spartan" does not mean what he thinks it means.

As a person from the modern world who loves her pop culture, does it matter? People understood what he meant. Of course, maybe I shouldn't judge. I can't help but hate when someone says another is as "ugly" as Mr. Hyde. ^_^
