It was the same for me. After receiving the email, first thing I did was get to the Citadel to look for her. Got a little excited to see a floating camera and someone in a dress in a colour within the red-blue scale. And then ambush!

not at all, I she basically got punched because of her Camera tring to get the krogan in the shot. Not fair at all but at east she gets some Asari loving

Watching her was tense. The first one I quite expected it to happened but it made me smile nonetheless. Then the asari one where I nervously expected a biotic punch, I thought it would be fun to see at first and then remembered it could kill. But when they got closer, I began to think she would get slapped instead. So I thought "Huh?" and then just shrugged it off. Didn't think she would be open to aliens but then again, there was nothing to suggest otherwise.



The krogan one, I wasn't so sure. On one hand, it looked like it could really hurt her bad. On the other hand, Al-Jilani getting punch is a running joke. Still, I thought he would punch her just enough to stagger, didn't expect to see her flying. My thought was "Oh no, is she going to return in ME3 for the Reporter Showdown?"



Voted our favourite option by the way. Can't beat the Femshep vs Maleshep group but at least we have second place, last time I checked.

I liked Emily. Sure, punching Al-Jilani is still hilarious, but I'd like to do an interview not involving that this time.

Emily is better than Khalisad, at least in landing a story. Have you even seen Al-Jilani TELL a story? All she is trying to get is an interview, and usully getting a nosebleed out of the way she treats the subjects of these interviews. One of the reasons Shepard couldn't give the interview for Emily was because she was somewhere else doing another interview, or making a broadcast.

No, it was because stupid Shepard went to the wrong Ward that we didn't get the interview.

I wish she was an NPC you could revisit in ME2 like Anderson and Al Jilani, it is odd that she doesn't show up to meet Shepperd in the Citadel at any time in the three quests he/she has there.

I think mostly the reason for Shepard and Emily not meeting is because Shepard isn't around in the Citadel long enough for Emily to catch up with him/her. Or at least long enough around populated areas of the Citadel. She must know that Shep is mostly hanging around Zakera Ward

But Shepard exhibited chronic stupidity throught the game.

Still, it would be cute if both happened. Shepard being dumb kept going to the wrong place, Emily always tying to get there but always arrive too late.

You got that right, Shepard did come across as a complete idiot for not even responding to the mail. Emily, Hannah Shepard for the spacer, Toombs, and even responding to Chairman Burns would have been conciderate

Imagine how Emily must have felt hearing that Shepard has been running all around Zakera Ward but having received no reply to her mail

she probably felt terrible or just knew that Shepard was really busy.

Just another reason for us to dislike Cerberus, for not including a regular ftl communicator to the Normandy. Would have made keeping in touch a lot easier. First two people i would have called as the spacer would have been Shepards mom and then Emily. No need to call Anderson at first since i'd pay him a visit anyway.

I can't wait for spacer sheps to meet their mother for the first time in game. Also I want that interview. I hate that Emily knows more about our moms than we do though.

Yep we're still trucking along Jackkel. still wanting that Interview and at least a Kelly Esque romance!

Why do you want a Kelly-esque romance? Do you want to romance her just so you can get the interview and have her dress up as a stripper at the end?

not exactly like Kelly. a romance but no achievement would be nice like Kelly's romance, since you dont' get the paramour acheivement for doing that. since we know we wouldn't get an ahcievement for romancing a non squadmate.
