I started thinking after Kasumi said she liked Jacob that what if squad members you didnt romance started having relationships with each other. Ex. you dont romance Miranda or Jacob, They forgive each other and become a couple. Or Garrus likes Tali and they come together. I dont know it make the game feel like its not all centered around you. Thoughts abouts. Or you can tell me who you think would make a good couple!

They're just being secret about it. A typical Hate-Love relationship...or maybe not. It'd just be awkward and that's why I like this idea. Besides that I don't want them to be left with nothing after I didn't romance either of them.

But as for the OP, I think the idea is good. I like the thought of the others actually interacting with each other more in any way (romance or non-). Heck, I'd like to see them actually walk around the Normandy.

I do remember the vid-mail from Ashley's sister, but still fail to see the hint.  I see that vid-mail as nothing more than an innocent tease.  This is almost as shallow as a woman thinking a man is gay just because he doesn't hit on her.

Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with speculation.  But I think we're grasping at straws on this one...

The only reason this is believed to hint that Ashley and Kaidan are "together" is because Shepard's name can be heard instead of Kaidan's, but only if a romance has been started with Ashley .

By the way, I can't be too sure how that plays out for a female Shepard. It's been a long time since I played ME1 with my female, so I really don't remember much.

Ashley's sister always says Kaidan is cute for female Shepard. It's the differnce that comes when you ask her if she is interested in Kaidan that shows that Ashley might be invovled with Kaidan. If the Kaidan romance is active, Ashley will say something like "No, ma'am. Besides rumor is that he's sweat on someone else". If the Kaidan romance is not active, she avoids answering by saying "That's fraternization. Don't ask, don't tell"

Besdies that, a dev said they were going to have Ashley and Kaidan get together if Shepard rejected them. But they didn't have the time, and it got cut.
