I think it would be better if they don't do this.  I don't see it making ME3 any better.  It would just complicate things more.....

In all honesty, Mass Effect is a bit simplified... I could appreciate some complication.

Maybe for future Bioware games, but not Mass Effect (or at least Shepard's story). There are too many variables to consider for ME/ME2 character importation into ME3 - who lived, who you sacrificed on Virmire, do you have a current romance, ect.

The only way I could see this working is if ME3 had two new squadmates who are in love, but could not be romanced by Shepard of either gender.

Nice idea. I would love to see that in ME3 =) Heck, that could turn into a whole side quest where you have to help those two...

If this were to happen, I would be afraid to enter crewmembers' rooms. At least without knocking. *shudder*

It might be a possibility to import a save from ME1 into ME3, if you want to keep your romance from there. I don't know... I'm sure it could work. You'd probably end up with defaults for what happens in ME2 though... The hell?

I don't think squad-mates will be able to have romances, and I don't expect Bioware to bother with it. I just think it would make the game a bit more realistic. It doesn't even have to be romances; I'd settle for a bromance or a sisterly bond between two characters. But some kind of bond or attachment between your side-kicks would only make sense. As it is now, they all stand around and ignore each other.

I'd have to go for Tali before anyone else got the chance. ;D

I'd actually really like this. Whether Miranda and Jacob got together, or Jacob decided he preferred Japanese girls with a penchant for kleptomania, I think it'd be nice to see him get with someone.

Just not FemShep.

Hahaah. Well, I'm not up for Jacob with anyone, he makes me cringe when he does his romance talk...But I'd like it if, say, Garrus and Tali got it on. Miranda and Kelly would be an interesting mix, too. Jack needs a friend, not in sexual way, but someone to give her a hug. I volunteer Joker for that. >xD

this is a really cool idea. seeing some more interaction between squadmates is always a plus for me. also how about just letting NPC walk around on the normandy its too static right now.

If they could walk about that'd be great, but would they walk around without purpose like the random npc's in ME1? Or would they walk and talk to people?

Cool idea, but in practice it would mean the engine room would be very crowded with all the young males on the ship, pitching pup-tents and whispering 'dat ass' to one another. Gabriella would be constantly mumbling about chopped liver, and would be unable to get any work done. Kenneth would be constantly chasing the boys out, while stealing his own glimpses of Dat Ass. The engine would fail, the Normandy would be destroyed, and the game would be over. The Reapers would win!

Maybe the current system is best...

Woah... I'm sure people have other places to go, rather than the engine room. You can't seriously believe that all NPC's have the same tastes or preferences?

It would end badly. Garrus would start up a romance with Tali. I would get jealous and space Tali. There would be drama all around.

I wouldn't mind having the option to encourage relationships. Like getting up Jacob's confidence to go after Miranda or dropping hints to him that Kasumi likes him. Something that like everything else requires Shepards expert touch.

And it would add melancholy if one of the squad members gets killed.

It could work. But again I would want it done to BioWare's standards and not just thrown in.

I support this idea.

I can imagine Shepard walking in on Legion and Tali using Shepard's captain quarters.

That some kind of revenge for Shep and Miranda using the engine room? Like the coupling though. Tech-freak goes for tech. Yummy~

Problem is, Legion seems to have a hard-on for Shepard. So Tali may be SOL.

Why so bad about Jacob? Just because he wants to celebrate their survival in a bar, where he could buy a bunch of "dancers"?

How about Wrex x Aria?

camcon2100 wrote...

Drama can be fun maybe Jacobs sneeking behind your back to go screw Miranda. Idk it seems like a fun concept

Like sneaking into the captain's girl's quarters.

I started thinking after Kasumi said she liked Jacob that what if squad members you didnt romance started having relationships with each other. Ex. you dont romance Miranda or Jacob, They forgive each other and become a couple. Or Garrus likes Tali and they come together. I dont know it make the game feel like its not all centered around you. Thoughts abouts. Or you can tell me who you think would make a good couple!

no.

I would much prefer resources to be invested in content as related to Shep.
