ME1, ME2, and DAO were all awesome games but the choices never had any weight to them. Almost everything happenes in the same way regardless of what you pick, and that is kind of a bummer. Even the really big decisions in ME1 (the two at the very end.....to keep from spoiling ) had little to no meaning at all in ME2. Sure I understand the plot of ME2 and all that but that would have made the tention bewtwenn Shep and the two groups amazing if it was fleshed out. Then there's the end decision in ME2 which should honestly have COMPLETELY different effects in ME3.....but will that be the case? DAO did things a tad bit different, though in the end yet again, the choices never really seem to have any bearing. It's like, here is the end and you have different ways to get there, but no matter what you do..........you're still going to get there with the same outcome. Come Bio-Dubbz lol let's start making these choices have some differentiating consequences! Posted Image

God I hope so. Don't get me wrong, they weren't terrible, but they could have been better (the choices' consequences). I will say, though, that to make the consequences too large and branching would probably be extremely hard to do and would shorten the game considerably if you take into account all of the extra dialogue they would have to do. So while I share your frustration, I also don't want the game to suffer just so my choices have a huge impact. The old system still works, if not exactly as we may want it.

I hope so too. When I borrow the game I want to make Hawke the most villainous person there is. Hey, with the blight gone the warden needs a new tyrant to kill :)

yeah I agree :-))

@andar91 I understand completely. I don't want them to make the game length suffer or make all choices have heavy bearings just some of the big ones.

If there had been an option to side with archdemon I would never have saved Ferelden. Speaking of consequences.

And it'll be the same here. Hawke is a champion of Kirkwall. No matter what he/she do, what kind of evil mad douche he/she is it'll always be champion of Kirkwall.

@Lord Gremlin I don't mean in that kind of way, that was never even an option in the game. I'm talking about the choices that already exist.

Are you serious? You don't consider the complete erasure of characters from the entire game a consequence?
