It doesn't really work too much like the game it seems, cunning does hardly anything because there is no one to coerce or persuade, there are no locks to pick, skills are named the same, but don't do the same thing because of the more simplistic system. It is DA lite, but it's very lite.DobiKuba wrote...

Apparently, the game can't stand it if you try to rush through the dialog. If you rapidly press 1 during dialog, all of a sudden you win..
I really hope that archers do a lot more damage in the real game because in journeys it's pathetic. And mind blast is a win button. So that's 2 hours of waiting down, about 340 to go.

Can someone tell me where the bard is located. I can't find him. Only missing him and needing to finish the game as a mage and a rogue to get all the items.
He's right above the dwarf that sends you to collect the hearts I think, either that or the one that wants his armor back, he's named something like Raevath and he looks kind of like Robin Hood. He is right above the first person you're sent to see in the main city, but he won't talk to you until you do one of the dwarf quests, so periodically return to see if he has anything new to say.

Is it true you can play the subclasses (like bard?) and can only play mage/rogue/warrior?

You can get a Bard, and I get the feeling that the prestige classes will be available in one of the next two chapters, but there just aren't enough enemies to get you much higher than level six, so if they are available, they won't be selectable for awhile.

This is Doug Cherner the production coordinator on the DA: Journeys team. Wanted to let you know that we are trying to get to your bugs as quickly as possible. Please keep sending them to dajourneys@gmail.com. Try to be as detailed as possible to help us find them faster. I'm also responding to some of you for more information.
Thanks

Just heal before finishing the ogre, easy as cake.
Anyway, BEWARE, Played 5 hours, unlock 2 items out of 3, 4 achievements out of 5. go eat. come back.
Nothing left..... just my char progression was saved, like if I was playing for that!! and customer support is a gmail adress, are you kidding me?? I am not wasting one more with this pile of crap..
To you all who play a long time straight, just log off and back and check if you still get anything, you might have a BIG surprise!
same just happened to me... i signed out, back in and everything was gone... hope the achievements and items are still saved with my EA-account...

Saving
As most who have played the game have probably realized by now, there are issues with saving progress in Dragon Age: Journeys. Specifically, it seems you cannot (reliably) overwrite the first online slot, and the other two appear to reset everytime you logout.
Fortunately, there is also a local autosave stored on your PC, and this one (these, actually; there are two, and though only one seems to be strictly necessary I suggest getting both) you can back-up yourself. Until the online saving is fixed, this can save you some hair-pulling.
The files you're looking for are
DAJ-<area name>-Auto.sol DAJ-<area name>-Misc.sol
and they are located in
Windows XP: C:\\Documents and Settings\\<user>\\Application Data\\Macromedia\\Flash Player\\#SharedObjects\\<random identifier>\\static.ea2d.com\\ Windows Vista: C:\\Users\\<user>\\AppData\\Roaming\\Macromedia\\Flash Player\\#SharedObjects\\<random identifier>>\\static.ea2d.com\\
but you may just want to copy the entire static.ea2d.com folder. It does not matter which browser you use and you do not need to be logged in neither to back-up nor restore (and access via the game) the files. The folders are hidden so you'll either need to display hidden files or type the path directly into the address bar (you can also type
%appdata%\\Macrom...instead).
NB: You do not use double-backslashes (\\). That's the forum messing up the post.
