If anyone can think of a better place to put this do speak up (or just put it there). Making a new thread seems like spam.
Saving
As most who have played the game have probably realized by now, there are issues with saving progress in Dragon Age: Journeys. Specifically, it seems you cannot (reliably) overwrite the first online slot, and the other two appear to reset everytime you logout.
Fortunately, there is also a local autosave stored on your PC, and this one (these, actually; there are two, and though only one seems to be strictly necessary I suggest getting both) you can back-up yourself. Until the online saving is fixed, this can save you some hair-pulling.
The files you're looking for areDAJ--Auto.sol DAJ--Misc.sol
and they are located inWindows XP: C:\\\\\\\\Documents and Settings\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Application Data\\\\\\\\Macromedia\\\\\\\\Flash Player\\\\\\\\#SharedObjects\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\static.ea2d.com\\\\\\\\ Windows Vista: C:\\\\\\\\Users\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\AppData\\\\\\\\Roaming\\\\\\\\Macromedia\\\\\\\\Flash Player\\\\\\\\#SharedObjects\\\\\\\\>\\\\\\\\static.ea2d.com\\\\\\\\
but you may just want to copy the entire static.ea2d.com folder. It does not matter which browser you use and you do not need to be logged in neither to back-up nor restore (and access via the game) the files. The folders are hidden so you'll either need to display hidden files or type the path directly into the address bar (you can also type%appdata%\\\\\\\\Macrom...instead).
NB: You do not use double-backslashes (\\\\\\\\). That's the forum messing up the post.
thanks man, that might help.. i'll give it a try
[edit:] well i found the foulder... but i just wondered... when the game autosaved after everything was gone.... those folders are useless... ?!?
