So, the problem is that I recently installed Mass Effect and after I get to the launcher and hit play a thing pops up saying that program is not working.

Now normally I would assume something is wrong with the game/my system (Vista btw) I have enough memory ect. ect.

The thing is I recently did a complete factory reset of my computer, and before I did that Mass Effect worked just fine as did Mass Effect 2. But now after I reset the whole system and after reinstalling Mass Effect a thing pops up saying Program not working after hitting play on the launcher.

If anyone can help me with this I would appreciate that very much...

(yes I have tried running as administrator)

What is your video card? If you reset your computer, you may need to download and re-install the drivers for your video card. Also try downloading and installing DirectX 9.0c
