I admit I'm having a hard time managing my inventory in NWN2 because all items look so similar. I like the button that sorts your inventory items automatically but on the other hand it's really hard to keep your own system (and it would have been better if the game had sorted them under explicit categories instead of just rearranging their order).

Are there any inventory overrides that deal with these issues, maybe at least increase the size of the items' icons? If so, could you direct me to them?

Another problem is that I'm already using an inventory override though, the one which combines character and attack stats with your inventory - very cool and useful override! I guess I'd have to abandon it to get larger item icons, right? No override combining these two features?

Not necessarily. If that mod uses XML files, you might be able to adjust the size of the icons through that. I'm using a variation of Charlie's UI and I can make my icons as big or as small as I want them to be. In fact I increased the size of his default icons, they were just too small for me.

You might like the Big Bag Inventory, which puts all the four panels into one big one, allowing you to sort things more easily without having to switch pane constantly. I think there is also a larger icon inventory. However, I don't think that any of these will work with each other (or your current override) without some work to combine the XML files.

Yes, the Big Bag Inventory is what I'm using right now, that's pretty cool aside from the small icons. It's also using xml files, I think, but I'm a total n00b at anything NWN2 related and generally at all technical stuff. So I wouldn't know how to enlarge the icons myself...

I also found Big Inventory Icons and Character Info by clubok which seems like a decent compromise but I wasn't able to install it correctly. The FAQ says I should just unzip all files into the My Documents/NWN2 folder and not worry about anything else but shouldn't they go into override or UI or something? In any case, in-game there were no changes and I don't even know how to access the inventory options menu in case the override was installed correctly. The FAQ doesn't say anything about that. And on top of it I read some comments saying it was probably not compatible to MotB, so I gave up and re-installed the Big Bag Inventory. Hm.

Well, all the icons for larger stuff would need to be remade then, I suppose.

I for one find it really hard to discern between the items, at least more than I did in NWN1, and even more than I did in BG, which had small one-square icons too. I don't know why.

I use that mod, but it doesn't increase the inventory icon size.
