allo
i've installed bg1, totsc, bg2, tob, tutu, and a few patches. on the startup screen, the buttons are blank (no text). there are a few other places where this occurs, like when clicking on high-level abilities on the level-up screen. has anyone experienced this before? what's causing it? how can i fix it?

You are probably looking at a reinstall. Make sure you (re)install the game to a directory you've got full permissions to and where nothing strange goes down (e.g. not c:\\program files if you are on Vista or Win 7).
It sounds like your dialog.tlk is missing text, which could have happened if the expansion or the patch tried to update it but was denied or foiled by your OS.

it's strange, because i installed recently (without tutu) and had this problem, then reinstalled (without tutu) and did not have the problem. so i wonder if the order in which i installed the components had something to do with it.
anyway, the game is otherwise fine, so it's not a big deal.:happy:

EasyTutu does not modify either your BG1 or BG2 installation so that shouldn't matter.messy1349 wrote...

If there were problems updating the dialog.tlk file you'll probably run into more severe problems eventually. Additionally, you may need to start a new game after reinstalling before all problems go away.anyway, the game is otherwise fine, so it's not a big deal.:happy:
