Definitely looks to be another entertaining character. Alcoholic, cynical, and jaded. It seems there is opportunity for some good character development here. I hope Bioware took advantage of this opportunity, and Oghren isn't just some 2 dimensional comic relief NPC.

Everyone need a blunt instrument from time to time. Since I plan on playing a rogue the first time around I'll need a good warrior up front. He maybe a more fun option then Sten.

BTW when I looked on the DA:A site last night I didn't see this information up on their NPC page. Was this video a leak or something?

Nice video...although oghren seems less then what i would expect.I guess i may be surprised by him later in the game.

Oghren clearly has the best voice of all the characters.



The joke at the end of the clip is hilarious..where he passes out.

I can't wait to pair Oghren up with my parties, I plan to have him with opposite party members to maximize the party banter.



Oghren/Leliana: The cynicism and alcoholism will hopefully make great comedy against her upbeat and seemingly religious nature.



Oghren/Sten: Sten seems disciplined and stoic, Oghren seems wild both in his fighting and his nature. Huge Qunari + short Dwarf = a winning combination. Yet they seem like they would get along somehow as strong warriors and be respectful in the end.



Oghren/Shale: Just because Oghren is a dwarf, maybe some insights about Shale will come forth, plus the wisecracking golem might be the brunt of several jokes involving the dwarf.



Several other companions will be great with him but these are the three I'm anticipating will get the most reaction out of him.
