No mirror, no story, so... In mine, he was doing it for her sake because he knew she liked arcane sorts of odds and ends and he had fetched things for her before. Made it sadder that she knew it was her fault that he pushed to touch the mirror.

Yeah and no Alistair goodness for my Dalish. Twould be sad, really. She still blames herself though, although part of her brain knows that he was the one touching the damn thing. Still she thinks she should have tried harder, push him away, search more intensively for him or anything that didn't result in abandon him like that. Oh teh guilt is indeed eating her. Tis depressing, really.

And now in the deep roads she is facing Hespith and sees what happens when the taint run unchecked. What would have happened to her. Nightmare-fuel, anyone?

Happy Mahariel picture after depressing topic: Who oddly looks like Lenya, heh

I wonder what people would think if they saw Lenya do that though?

BSN ate my earlier post, and I just know it will show up again if I repost it....but anyways....

Kara's ultimate nightmare is the Deep Roads - all that taint and then the broodmother at the end. I haven't decided what her ultimate end is because it would be super-cruel to make her die in the Deep Roads after everything. She might die heroically on the surface fighting against darkspawn or something instead, near the time of her Calling.

Probably they all would wear this face expression:

:wizard:

And to the topic: Yep, I don't see my Dalish returning down there either. It was just that traumatic that she made Alistair promise later on that they would find another way to die, when the time comes. So fistbump to Kara in that one. :)

Oh my Dalish would go back there.

But he plans on hauling a few thousand tons of Dworkin's Special mix with him.

Hopefully it dosent take out a mountain, or three, or the whole Frostbacks.

But then again they are always complaining about parking outside Orzamar anway.

Replaying Idun's origin bits after Witch Hunt was very :crying:

Does anyone else think Duncan is at his most swoony when he's picking you up off the ground saying "I'm very sorry"? :wub::wub:  Too bad about that Tamlen and all...!

Of course, everyone loves to pick on the little guys. It happens all the time in RL.

Eh, there's always been 'tude about the elves. It's inevitable when the game presents them as being the downtrodden of society. You kind of absorb that attitude and see them as weak, whiny, deserving of their fate etc. I guess especially when the game shows the PC as miracle worker, so it lends to an unrealistic view of what a person ought to be able to accomplish.

It seems to sort of go in waves, I think. One day, a lot of people are saying they don't like elves. The next day, it'll be dwarves, or a particular class, or an NPC...

Oddly, I've never seen an 'I hate humans' day. Maybe because we are all human. So, yeah. Never mind that.

I have many "I Hate Humans" days! Lmao.

Eh, people can keep on hating and thinking of elves as weak and gutless. They'll never see it coming-

Dunno about anyone else, but I always fave Mahariel art because I've seen fan artists comment that they respond to the feedback by making more of it.

I like those ones Addai. I'd fav them but deviant art hates me for some reason. Ever since I upgraded to paying for access...odd that.

On topic - I'm running a Dalish mage for the first time. I didn't want to before due to the dialogue problems but I found a mod that fixes some of them. I love being an apostate. Mentally blowing raspberries at Wynne is fun ;-)

Idun annulled the Circle, starting with Wynne.  But it didn't give me much satisfaction because I think it wracked her a lot and probably would stay with her the rest of her life.

P.S. What mod fixes the dialogue problems?  I didn't mind them, to be honest.  It lent a certain paranoiac air to Broken Circle that everyone kept acting like they recognized Idun.  She already thought they were all batsh*t crazy anyway.  LOL

So if you use the Dalish mage mod, Gregoir will berate you about the Jowan incident?

That's batsh*t crazy indeed!

Yes, and the mages all say "I remember you".  But the Tower is a delusional place on a good day, let alone in Broken Circle.  It just made it easier for Idun to side with the templars, not that she liked them either.  I hadn't annulled the Circle before so wanted to see something different and it seemed appropriate.  I hated the epilogue though.  Posted Image

I saved the tower just recently as a blood mage and no one cared. I dont know if thats sad, ironic, or poetic really.

If I replay Idun's game, I'll probably keep Wynne (ugh) and save the Circle so I can see the blood mage confrontation trigger.
