There's also the fact that a story that revolves around being an assassin would be darn repugnant for many. They could do his time among the Dalish, but ending a DLC with no victory would be pretty depressing.Ulicus wrote...
Since they reused areas for Leliana's Song, I'm thinking Alistair, Wynne or Loghain would be the best bets for a backstory DLC. As much as I'd love to play as Zevran, the last thing I want is for his past to suddenly take place within Ferelden.

how about the brother of the human noble.
I adore Fergus. It would have to be before his marriage, though, or it would be very depressing indeed.

Given the popularity of games like Assassin's Creed, maybe not
You just have to make the targets even more reprehensible than the PC...

Besides, his stories were filled with all kinds of fun sex. It would be a blast.
Well....all exept his last mission. That was pretty sad. But it's extremely dramatic and would help set the stage for his appearance in DA:O for those players who never heard the story of his last mission since they killed him or didn't pursue a close friendship or romance with him.

hmmm....
would actually seriously like to see some of these as DLC (the titles may have to be changed)
Arden Howe: Rise of Evil
Morrigan: from DA1 to DA2
Blanka: Descent into Madness
Uldred: How I learned to Stop worrying and love the demon.
Riodan: Not just a plot device.

... and his secret demon possession. Did you ever wonder what Ser Pounce-a-lot whispered into Anders' ears in camp? Or why he took to Anders' robes so well, when any other cat would have shredded him to bits?joriandrake wrote...
then I guess you would also like a DLC about Ser Punce-a-Lot

Plus as she did not tell you much of her back story there would be no retconning, I hate retconning

- We have to look at what has come before, people. "Leliana's Song" was unfortunately ret-conned to be set in the same defunct areas of Fereldent we had all been before.
Anyone thinking about Antiva, or the Qun (giggle) should have their head examined.
There will be nothing new in any forthcoming DLC.
- The most popular (demanded) characters are the love interests. It is no coincidence that it was Leliana that got the first DLC. If anyone gets more DLC it will be Zevran.
Alistair and Morrigan will not get DLC, because I believe they will have further roles to play in later games. Leliana and Zevran do not.
- Remember the "Darkspawn Chronicles"... have you ever heard of a *chronicle* that it is singular? Of course, there are, but the term is often used to describe a collection of events. I believe that there may be more of these... or at least there were until they realised how unpopular that DLC was.
All unpleasntness over.
My vote is for Zevran, anyway.

Prequels about Zevran, Wynne (she's got some interesting stories about her long past if you did care to listen to her during the game) and maybe Sten. Shale can also be interesting, she even appears in The Stolen Throne, but as somebody pointed out, she comes from a DLC herself so maybe that's asking too much.
Sequels about Morrigan (no matter your decissions she only has two similar endings so it's easy to make a DLC about her), Sten or Oghren
Even if that will disappoint Alistair fans, I find it difficult to have a DLC based on him... his life before Origins seems to have been boring, and his life after the game can have so many different outcomes a sequel is almost unimaginable.
Other characters may be interesting but not everybody has read the novels or played Awakenings and if I were Bioware, I'd like to reach all the people who has played the game. And Kristoff's past is being covered by Machinima ;P
Said this, what I'd really would like is more DLCs about my warden, in which I could play with my love interest as a companion (in my case it was Zevran but I guess Leliana and Alistair can be included depending on your outcomes).
