Because I set this account up a long time before I had any idea that WAR was going to use it. So I'd like to have this account named the same as it was back on the old WAR forums.
Is that possible?

Well that bloody sucks. And now because I was logged into the forums with this account, my WAR account is forever welded to it?

Most likely so, yes. EA live support may or may not be able to transfer that particular subscription to a different account, like with DLC. It is a little different from other game registrations so I can't say.

Yes you can, but you lose you friends list and groups and have to re register all you games but it still stay tied to your EA account and game uploads.
All you have to do is go to Profile/Account/ Click Delete Account. Once you do that Just log in again and it will ask you for a User name.
Basically all you lose is you profile and like
