You won over the skeptic in me as more information is leaked onto the internet, and thank you for that too. It'sclear to me that you're all putting your hearts into the sequel. I'm sure you'll put down the controversty that surrounds the idea "new" with plenty of the familiar while keeping things epic and player-driven. I look forward to more info on the game! Keep up the good work and more skeptics will get over their tears and be won over too
Thank you Bioware

Why did I expect more from someone who has a number in their name replacing a letter?Ashr4m wrote...

You fail pretty hard, the number in my name is there for the same reason as the numbers you used in your name (obviously any decent name is already used ...) , i just put the number in the name so it would look less generic and to be able to use the name like you did ...

So people who don't make the same buying decisions you do are zombies?

So that "4" totally isn't an "A," is it?Ashr4m wrote...

At least it looks less generic than putting a random number after a nickname that is already taken
@AlanC9
No, but people who thank companies for selling products and furthermore people who thank companies for selling them less content for more money.

For keeping your word and entertaining us with some fairly regular DLC additions to the original Dragonn Age. They're interesting, fun, and cool bits of adventure that lend more insight to the characters, world, and lore of Dragon Age. I hope that we continue to see more DLC and a few more epic moments to wrap up the story of the Warden before we make our transition into the visual re-imaging of Thedas. Hopefully we'll have lots of DLC to look forward to in that adventure too.

"Good game"
or
"Nice Work on this/the last one"
or
"Quality effort"
I mean a leech doesn't thank the human and the human doesn't thank the leech. Unless they do, yeah my analogy is terrible given more thought. And it sounds rough in writing also. But it stands nonetheless. On very brittle bones.

On the other hand, yes, I agree with others here, my money is all the thanks they need. And I'm not particularly happy with the DLC business model and the amount of "thanks" they're asking for the amount of content they're giving, either.

IMO there is nothing wrong with thanking someone for doing or making something you like (regardless of the fact that you paid for it). I guess that (despite my age) I haven't had my personality "hardened" yet. I suppose some people are just "hardened" from the start. I feel sorry for them (and the people around them).
I don't know, personally I fell the people that should be thanked are people who go out of their way to do something for you or others, people and companies who do things abnormal that benefit more then themselves. Personally I see no reason to thank a company making a product strictly to sell for profit, because that's the sole purpose of a business and ultimately they do not care about me or you, they care about the money in our wallet. Why should we thank a company doing exactly what it's supposed to do, deliever a product for it's market to sell.
I mean do you go to the manager whenever you're in a grocery store and thank him? Do you thank your teacher everyday for educating you? Do you head over to your closest military bases and VA buildings and thank them all for their service? It's not so much of having a hardened personality, it's more about realizing the difference between people and organizations doing what they are supposed to do and people and organizations who truly deserve thanks. BioWare made a product, I decided I liked it, and I bought it. Why do I have such a pitifully hardened personality because I don't feel any aspect there really warrants a thank you?

None of this explains why you (and the others in this thread) have to come crap all over other people who do want to say thanks. To each their own.

But I felt there was a bit of a need to clarify any misunderstanding that those of us don't feel BioWare deserves a thank you isn't because we're heartless bastards, in reality for myself it's quite the opposite as I feel those words for be reserved for those who truly deserve it and not for a business doing what a business does. If you and any others want to thank them feel free, just don't assume those who don't do so because we also yell at little kids to get off our lawns and shout bah humbug at Christmas.
