when i go to load my most recent saved game, both manual and autosave, it says the save file is damaged and cannot be loaded. any way this can be fixed? thanks

This sounds like the dreaded corrupted saves bug. To find out more, read these posts located here...

The bad news is that the saves past the point mentioned in the posts above are probably nonrecoverable. The good news is that if you can find a save from before this occured, you might be able to salvage most of your progress. I really wish you the best with this issue, but do know that you are NOT alone with it, and it is probably the most intolerable bug that currently exists in the Xbox version.

thanks for the reply. i read several posts with similar problems after i already posted. unfortunately i dont have a good save file. both were corrupted. this is actually the second straight time this has happened. last playthru it happened 40 hours in and now 30 hours in this time. thanks for the info though i hope bioware can resolve this. it makes it hard to get excited for another playthru not sure if it will get messed up again after 30+ hours of time.

The upcoming patch cersion 1.04 is supposed to fix this very nasty bug. I didn't get a chance to use the patch before it got redacted (some problems were brought to light when it was combined with the newest Xbox units), so I cannot personally attest to the fact that their fix is actually in it. Hopefully it will be released again soon, and include a fix for this problem!
