How do I enchant a ruin into my swords for a weapon upgrade? Thanks.

You talk to Sandal on your party Camp.

That worked -- thank you -- but I am just one guy when I talk to Sandal, and I wanted to try and upgrade the swords for other party members. I tried exchanging the weapons so that I received a sword from Allistor, but my old sword that had already been upgraded appeared in the menu (rather than the one that Allister was using). Are all upgradable swords always visible if I have them equipped or in the inventory of other party membors?

Yes. All equipped weapons that can accept runes should show on Sandal's list.

All weapons in your inventory, even weapons equipped on other party members, will show up in Sandal's list. If a weapon doesn't show up in the list, it's because it has no Rune Slots.

Thank you very much -- greatly appreciated. Now I wish I hadn't sold all my weapons during the game up to this point, and I'm regretting selling my unused armor because I got a new party member without armor.

Also if your upgradeing weapons Tier level by useing merchants or the party chest you have to first remove all the runes in them so all their slots are empty. Otherwise it wont work.
