I am getting to the point where I am ready to put my module on the NWVault. I was planning on using IZ Arc to compress my files.
I have never done this before. The process is simple, but I want to make sure I make it a file type which is easily
unpacked by many different programs.
currently, I plan on using the IZ Arc Zip archive (.zip).
Are there any other recommendations?

7zip is popular or just plain .zip

I agree, 7zip gives good compression results and it's open source (so it's free). The other one i see quite a bit is RAR, but the compression results might not be as good.

.zip or .rar have been around a very long time. You can never go wrong with either of those.

I recommend 7zip for the above cited reasons.
