Hummm... I must admit that I don't like much what I have heard so far about DA2.
One thing that I really love about games like Dragon age or Mass Effect is the realistic graphics, and there is
a very simple reason for that: realistic graphics tremendously add to the immersion.
Realistic graphics coupled with Bioware's great storytelling made me feel like I was actually living in that world. It was amazing, and I have never felt anything like that with other games.
I know that some devs think that as long as the main flavour (lore?) of DA remains intact in DA2 everything will be fine, but personally I can't agree. Style is essential to preserve the continuity of a world like the one of DA.
Just try to imagine what the movie "The Lord of the Rings" would look like if all the characters were caricatured and cartoon-like... it wouldn't feel the same, not even a little bit.
I think that all the realistic and mature storytelling is greatly enhanced by realistic graphics.
I am not saying that a stylized look is necessarily bad in videogames, I am just saying that in my opinion it would not fit DA at all (unless you want to turn it into a spinoff of WoW...).
I loved DA, and I loved its realistic look, so please devs do not change it.
And there is also another thing that I would like to ask the devs: why did you decide to break the continuity with the main character in DA? I think that the idea of importing a character from a game into another (as in Mass Effect) was totally ingenious, why did you decide to give that up?
Stylized graphics?? & no continuity??

I think it is too late for them to change the graphics style. The only thing I think we can do is deal with it.

Well, DA2 does have an import system. Except instead of importing your Warden, you import the choices you made, like from KOTOR 1 to KOTOR 2 for example. And my Warden died, along with many other people's Wardens. That's one of the reasons why we can't play as him in DA2. Plus, DA is about the world and time period as a whole, hence the name Dragon Age.
