No offense but that looks rather ugly to me. But then again I didn't like the looks of the elves in DA:O either. Elves are supposed to be more beautiful than humans and that's my hope for DA2 elves.

Too bad beauty is an opinion, ****, just take the things from Avatar the movie and replace. There ya go! Blue Elves!

Yes give them wings as I have mentioned earlier. The first thing I thought of when I met the elves, these are elves? But they just look like humans! With some devious narration you can explain why we didnt see any wings on any of the elves in DA1.

I like the elves in DA:O, faces at least, bodies needed work, but still there are worse....

That's very true! I agree that writing them with 'alien' viewpoints and ways of acting to make them feel like another race is just as, if not more, important as what they look like. If looking generic means that they have a very well designed personality then I will be a happy bunny!! It's what's inside that counts!

But seeing as they are tweaking them anyway, we can still dream. ^^
I really want to see the more tribal, wild looking elves!

I'd like to see subtle difference, make the ears more noticable, taller than humans with thinner features.

I think the eyes should be different, I'd like to see the colour of an elves' eye make it obvious that it's an elf, colours that are brighter or shine more.

Yeah but you couldn't dance in-game if you looked like that, or the boob stasi would come along and stop you with a spell of righteous moral decency, after you've diced all your opponents and had your dog lick the blood off you.

God, looks like someone from Avatar. 

I... uh... that is not exactly what I had in mind, though "interesting."  LOL  But since people are posting lots of pics of what I call "battle fairies," let me say that I hope we see realistic and gritty changes in armor, clothing, hair and tattoos rather than fantastical, and that the changes are mostly stylistic and not structural.  This is if there even are any Dalish in the new game.

Elegant??  I don't think that's what we're going to see, judging by the comments the devs have made about wanting to give them a more tribal look.

Agreed. I'm rather done with Tolkien elves. I really don't understand why so many people are wishing for Tolkien elves when it seems like BioWare was very deliberately subverting that whole concept of elves being holier than thou, uber superior, better than humans in every way.
